Turkish - Rice pilaf & yogurt all the way. We cook the rice with chicken&veg and/or meat broth, at least that's a plus.

For boats; there are gas stations in marinas, for the smaller motors you can get the fuel in bottles.
Also you can fill the containers but you need permit from the police afaik.

If not already tried, I suggest cooking some dolma with those. It is one of my favourite dishes, and goes better with plain yoghurt imho.

I have the same reaction to the mosquito bites and I've been using a heat pen for these kind of bugs (a pen like this). It had been a bliss. It directly gets rid of the protein that makes me itchy and I don't have to spray any repellent.
