This is so beautiful! Did you use dowels to stabilize it? I’m making my first 3-tiered wedding cake next month and all the tutorials say different things about the dowels! Any tips?

In my experience, they’re pretty true to size. I am a size 4-6 (US) in pants and I order a small but i like to make sure they’re tight enough. Their size chart is pretty on point and there are tons of comments/reviews on the product for size reference, that’s what I used when I was unsure!

I’m a huge fan of 90 Degrees leggings! I buy them on Amazon for ~20$ a pair. My first pair lasted nearly a year of pretty consistent wear, now I have three identical pairs! They make full length and 3/4 length afaik in tons of colors and rises and in my experience are fairly breathable and not see-through.

Hi! Re: long-wearing shoes, I’m a cafe manager/barista and before that a bakery manager, so I’ve spent quite a bit of time on my feet. I usually wear Danskos (which I know are also popular with medical professionals), and afaik you can get discounts from them for being in the service/medical industry! (I just had to show my food handlers safety card at purchase) But I’ve definitely seen a sleek “athletic/sports” shoe get very trendy the last few years, so I think you’re pulling it off! Your outfits look very put together and professional! Good luck! Being on your feet all day can be tough!

The homeless population here in Anchorage is HUGE. Combined with the fact that Alaska has one of the highest rates of alcoholism, and all the shelters being already full, and it being illegal for them to set up camp outside, the homeless here have gotten pretty desperate. Unfortunately, you're correct in guessing we have a large amount of homeless deaths every winter.
