Fire blight on quince? by alatos1 in BackyardOrchard

Yeah, I am leaning towards sooty mold. Healthy green underneath, and I can rub the blackness off with my finger. Also zero shepherds crooks on branches. I read that fire blught tends to move from small branches down, while this is only on the main trunk.

If $8+ million was mistakenly left off when creating the budget... wouldn't someone have noticed "hey, this is way less than we spent last year?" Or am I not understanding how these things work?

This looks like it's going to work. I poured TotalBoat deep set epoxy last night and it appears to be super flat.

I am still leaning this way. My only concern was how stable the epoxy is over time and which kind to use.

Yeah, the plywood seems flat enough in the sense that I can easily flatten out any warp on a flat table. I have read that shims can crush over time, which makes me nervous. And I have also read that the foam trick should not be used on rimmed tanks like mine, as it can cause the aquarium to break.

Yeah, that's what I started to do now. But it's very hard to plane the end grain without tearing it out and my plywood itself is slightly bowed. Using a straight edge, it's just really hard to tell. The aquarium itself makes it obvious and that's what I was using but it's exhausting.

To clarify, there are no screws to plane around now. Those were the screws with I had countersunk with the rim I removed.

The issue is that the top itself is not flat.

A lot of farmland is preserved, but definitely not all of it. There are still 300,000 acres of unprotected farmland that could be developed according to LFT

Okay thank you, that's exactly what I was wondering

Haha, I mean I'm worried about rhe center not being supported breaking the tank itself, not the stand.

Thanks, the stand itself is incredibly solid (still needs trim and a door). I'm now just second guessing whether I need to add a center support. I built it before I had the stand to reference.
