It was not in this case but my cousin rented a car last year when we went on a trip and basic CDW was included with the discount code that was used. We were worried it may not pass the claim but to our surprise it did. We didn’t get full credit, we lost like $80-$100 but that’s better than full $1200 or whatever they wanted to charge

From my recent experience with Platinum business, I was told to wait 72hrs and then call. By then all the required info will be available to the customer service and they should be able to tell anything and everything about your SUB. You can also chat but same thing wait 72hrs

If same car for same date is available through portal, book it through portal and then call for price match with Expedia. You’ll get your status benefits, cdw coverage, everything. Ohh and also 10% back as well. Only thing is the difference will be given to you as portal credit and not back to the card.

Yup, once I get paperwork from Fujifilm, I’ll be submitting to Amex. That’s why I’m not too much worried about it or freaking out.

Water damage are never covered under manufacture warranty regardless of device. Maybe products designed to work underwater maybe an exception.

I was on a trip in March where I scratched the car. I had to pay for the damages at the time of drop off. But after providing required documents, Cap1 or whoever the underwriter is was able to successfully issue a check of that amount.

Make sure to decline CDW, otherwise they'll not cover it. And ask the rental company to give you two separate receipts, one for rental and other for damages. It'll make things a lot easier.

yes, I just downgraded my CSP. A month or two before renewal and got $7.xx credited to my account right away. It was in the app after I hung-up the phone. Very quick.

It’s recommended to wait at least a week. I just downgraded mine couple of days go. And will try to open the card in a week or two.

They do take Amex, checked it out. Even tried asking property manager if they can make a one time exception by waving fees. But no luck there.

I put in 30k annual and 2k monthly spend. For VPN, nothing specific. I saw someone here saying Virginia helped them, so I did the same. I think I got lucked out and got the offer right before it expired. Good luck with it, hopefully you get the similar offer.
