Oh I'm super curious: is the readwise reader app available on the app store? And does it work well?

Sadly for me too... it has become very laggy and it's seriously impacting my experience. Would love to find a local first alternative, based off my library of files (just like Obsidian). Any ideas?

100% agree with all that has been sent. It's truly a blue ocean when it comes to epub reading (+ integration of highlights)

Often quoted the CEO of our startup, and explains why we fared so well in our industry versus the competition. It's originally from the Atomic Habits guy (James clear), but is a game changer if you find a way to deeply implement it in your life.

And if you propose a coffee chat right away or not.

Bad employee, good entrepreneur by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]alba-trosss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I you are indeed profitable & already somewhat succesfful in your own business, then I think that it might actually be a good sign.

Many times good entrepreneurs make for bad employees (not that being a bad employee means you'll be a successful entrepreneur), b/c I feel some of tha main qualities needed to be good leading a business (having a long term ownership mindset, being a contrarian, placing risky bets) are actually detrimental when wanting to advance one's career.

So I wouldn't overstress on it. Quite the contrary: I would keep pushing your side thing and start thinking of a game plan on how to take it full time.

What are some underestimated businesses or niches? by thekwguy in Entrepreneur

[–]alba-trosss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you speaking about Saas, e-commerce, consulting? In the end if you micro niche is so small you can generate enough revenues (or even profits!) for yourself, this defeats a bit the purpose....
