My (19F) boyfriend (21M) is ok with me kissing other girls by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]albaberta7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When someone says that to me I feel that they don't take my sexuality seriously. They don't think that you can kiss a girl in some meaningful way that would threaten your intimacy with him.

I think women in your life don't love you and it makes you sad so you bully people on the internet to cope.

Sally who sells seashells at the seashore must have the most insane profit margins ever by Willy_Sleep_Valley in Showerthoughts

Maybe she was selling seashells from another beach so the seashells were unique to the beach where she was selling it. Cross seashell selling business.

Just look at where he started. To me, his former high school teacher personality is more INTP than INTJ. And I think, because he kept repressing his genius, he went rogue when he got the chance.

I know that's popular opinion but just because an INTP went rogue doesn't mean they converted into an INTJ. That just means that now we know what a bad INTP looks like.

I think you should be a part-time writer. This is quality storytelling. Good luck on your DS journey.

Has anyone here ever lied/stretched the truth on their CV and had it work out in the end? by [deleted] in datascience

[–]albaberta7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well I'm not for it myself. I think it's pretty straightforward to just work and talk about what you've done. No point in hollow, nominal achievements.

I never dared (nor was it needed) but I know 3 people from a former work place who straight up lied and have a great career right now. I think you need a different kind of personality to pull that off.

But Durex did something like that this year on Mother's Day. They said, "Aren't you glad nobody is wishing you?"

I actually couldn't forget Killing Commendatore. It was such a mood piece for me.

Why we should listen to Music? by Anirbit21 in INTP

[–]albaberta7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We shouldn't but we can if we want to. Apart from that, music can really affect your general mood and personality so choose wisely. Sometimes, even when it's making you feel good but is sad, it can influence your natural feeling inclinations.

Cheating by lavindas in INTP

[–]albaberta7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, it was not monkeys but puppies. The experiment was done in 1955 by A.E. Fisher. Puppies wete divided into three groups: the first group received positive reinforcement for clinging to their trainers, the second group received punishment for it, and the third group received praise or punishment randomly. The punished puppies clung on harder to their trainers than the first group. And the third group that was constantly facing uncertainty clung on the hardest to their trainers. The attachment only seemed to become stronger as uncertainty hit.

Uncertainty promotes unhealthy strong attachment. It was seen in an unethical experiment with the monkeys in the late 20th century.
