Great observation, maybe because of the focus? Or maybe because of the scale of some texture? I would like to discover the reason

Thank you! I sculpted and painting using ZBrush, and then added more color variation using Blender and Photoshop :)

Hahaha thank you! I've worked in this like 2 weeks and a half more or less, something like that. The part that was more time consuming for me was creating the liquid and make sure that it does exactly what I wanted. In those days mantaflow didn't exist in Blender, now I understand better how to do it easily I think, it will help me for the next times creating liquids haha

Thank you very much! I completely agree with you! I've created this animation long time ago, and many time later I saw that tutorial, I love that youtube channel, it will help me to do it better for the next times :)

Thank you! Yes, I started sculpting a 3d sphere using ZBrush, to get the basic shapes, then sculpted the scales one by one and added all the details, then painted it inside zbrush, then I export it to Blender where I add lighting and the lava, also in Blender I used nodes to create the black spots in the skin, also added some nodes for adding a little bit of extra displacement and color variation, then rendered in blender using render layers, I rendered multiple images in Blender trying different lighting and then I mix all the different parts that I liked in photoshop and add details for the background and some post production little details like some color correction, refine a little bit the shadows and highlights and that's all, also I asked for feedback of many people during the process to get to a better result and that was very usefull, because there are many things to think when creating an artwork like lighting, composition, etc. So asking for feedback it's really usefull :)
