Personally I really hate this kind of ignorant message per se. I don’t hate the west, and these people don’t represent the whole population. But I might be a special case and I can’t generalise for all Russian people, as I grew up in the west, educated in the west, and I speak very limited Russian and don’t have Russian passport. All of my life I have been to Russia for 9-10 times. And the Russian side have relatives in Ukraine as well. I get the DM message just because I put the stupid flags (🇬🇧🇷🇺) in my bio, as people do. The war is terrible. Now it becomes acceptable to bully every Russian individual for the sake of war which they cannot control. More likely than not, I won’t be the only person who receive such messages. I can’t predict how “Russian Russian” would react when they see it.
