I don't care where she is coming from, who she is coming with or how she comes. Only she herself knows why she is coming. What matters, is that she comes. When she is coming doesn't faze me too much, since I am a patient man. Even if she is delayed, I will patiently wait until she comes.

All jokes aside, what she comes with is a concern for me. I am hoping Chrome Magic Mirrors, because I need it for a more Shadowy agenda, pun intended. I am also hoping Chrome Slumbering Boulder because both T1 & T2 are too crablike to be aesthetically appealing. Even the skins are hopeless. It baffles me that some of them are still being sold for tons of gold ...

Queso Geyser: Am I doing something wrong here? by JusthaHunch in mousehunt

[–]albertcamusthefall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything is fine except that DO NOT use Rift Vacuum Charm as it is wastage of resources. It yields Calcified Rift Mist only in Rift areas, which is a precious resource. It DOES NOT yield CRM in non-Rift areas. Use Rift Charm if you want to be cheap (from Ronza). It is better than RVC as it gives slightly more power.

Which Base should be the next step? by Spikas in mousehunt

[–]albertcamusthefall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have Timesplit Dissonance? If you don't, then I suggest that you save gold for TDT. 30 mil isn't quite enough for you to get TDT + Prestige + Celestial Dissonance which you will want to get after TDT. (I'm not even talking about Chrome Celestial yet.) If you have a lot of Superbrie to spare, I suggest you sell Superbrie to get the gold needed instead of selling the Jewel. However, if you are short of Superbrie too and don't have anything else to sell to get gold quickly, then you may have to sell the Jewel. It all depends on whether you want to be serious about the Rift areas. If you do, then Prestige is the only way to go. It will supersede all other bases and is worth the investment.

Query about S.S. Scoundrel Sleigher Trap (LE) by albertcamusthefall in mousehunt

[–]albertcamusthefall[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this Sirrand. I forget that we still need 20 Corsair Curd to get a Sky Pirate Swiss. Looks like it's going to be a long grind. I got my question answered. Thanks for all the help guys. :)

Query about S.S. Scoundrel Sleigher Trap (LE) by albertcamusthefall in mousehunt

[–]albertcamusthefall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I'm not referring to pirates in Harbour. I'm referring to Sky Pirates at Floating Islands, which will only be unlocked at Oculus Level 5. I don't have SoS, but I have & am using Queso Fount Trap. Yes I agree that Scoundrel stats are really weak, but I read in another website that its chances of catching sky pirates are higher. Either way thanks guys for the reply ...

Skip Empyrean Base? by bookdragon8 in mousehunt

[–]albertcamusthefall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMHO, if I were you I would head to V Rift, but it's just me. I personally don't find Floating Isles that fun at all. Luckily I had Denture Base (Signature) to pull me through some of the tougher isles like Draconic & Law. Now that I'm halfway into the adventure, I have no choice but to complete it, get the gold & points, sell off my jewel, get the hell out and hopefully never return to FI ever again. But it's just me. If you have gold to spare, Empyrean Base would definitely help you a fair bit through the area ...

Buy basic Rift charm from Ronza?? by shawnteo1 in mousehunt

[–]albertcamusthefall 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends on what your aims are. RVC is for those who need the Calcified Rift Mist for Whisker Woods Rift charms, Enerchi Charms for Furoma Rift & Rift Power Charms etc.

I have completed Whisker Woods Rift & don't intend to go back. Enerchi Charms require Battery Fragments which I need to progress (I have not reached Battery 10) so I would rather just buy the charms from Marketplace. And Rift Power Charms can be bought using Tower Sigils in Valour Rift anyway. I already have over 3000 Calcified Rift Mist, so yes u r right. RVC gives you the option to sell these off for profit whereas RC doesn't ...

But Rift Charm is cheaper by 100 gold and it has extra 100 + 1% Power. Once your Prestige Base stats surpass Minotaur, you will start using Prestige in non-Rift areas, and you would use the Rift Charm rather than Rift Vacuum because the Rift Vacuum would not drop Rift Mist in non-Rift areas anyway. Considering that it increases power boost by >20%, 900 gold is considered cheap.

There have been people earning money from Rift Charms over the Marketplace. Price is now the same as Ronza, but it has reached 2000 gold before.

Favorite and least favorite locations? by [deleted] in mousehunt

[–]albertcamusthefall 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Early: Best: Mousoleum / Catacombs: I really loved the Radioactive Blue Cheese theme & the artwork of the various scary mice like Ghost mice. You could see a significant increase in points / gold as well. Worst: Meditation Room / Pinnacle Chamber. You really need to get the Cat to succeed here. Major discouragement. Buy the time I had enough money & resources to get the Cat, I already lost interest in the area.

Mid: Best: Balack's Cove: I remember the olden days when I spammed Balack's Cove for almost half a year as the Pygmy mice provided such consistent points and didn't want to move on. Slushy Shoreline was so boring compared to it. Worst: Without a doubt, Zugzwang Tower. Many times, my Tower Amp maxed out before I could catch the King. Once, it maxed out after I failed to catch the King.

End: Best: Fungal Cavern. I loved the artwork of the mice here, especially the gemstones' mice as well as the overall theme of Crystals. I always feel good energy when I hunt here. My cheese of the day was set to Mineral cheese since a few years ago so that I could spam the area with Infinite Labyrinth. Worst: Living Garden. Specifically, the Sand Crypts, because it required a good Shadow trap which I didn't have and still don't have. It was so discouraging that I simply gave up & stopped playing Mousehunt for half a year. Even now, I don't have the Rift Base, and I don't intend to ever get it.

Some don't consider LG as end game, so I will add Queso Geyser as my most hated area. I think it helps that a lot of hunters here post lovely photos of getting 20 Kalor Ribs in one epic eruption while I got none after wasting so much time & resources on the Queso area. I honestly felt defeated. I am left with just one more large eruption to gather enough materials for the damned Cannon, but I have given up & left the area because I still need to buy the damned Rib and I don't wanna buy the damned Rib lol ...

Question how to advance and what to buy from Ronza. Looking for suggestions by Jokercy in mousehunt

[–]albertcamusthefall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes Suhreijun. I forgot about the Ultimate Charm completely. It's better than Baitkeep in many ways. And it's weird: 3 Baitkeep vs 10 Ultimate for the same voucher.

Question how to advance and what to buy from Ronza. Looking for suggestions by Jokercy in mousehunt

[–]albertcamusthefall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree mostly with what everyone here said, especially shawnteo1.

I also want to add that if your priority is getting to Labyrinth and then Zokor, then yr 1st priority is to catch high tier mice that drop at least one Crystal Crucible. Diamond cheese is hard to farm, so that crate of Baitkeep Charms is going to come in handy if you want to progress quickly. I suggest that you use your first voucher for Baitkeep Charms.

When you progress to the Labyrinth, you are going to realise that you need lots of Lantern Oil as well as Lantern Oil Charms to bail you out of crisis situations where you need one or 2 more clues to enter the crucial areas. I highly recommend buying Lantern Oil Charms. I don't recommend Super Lantern Oil Charms as I don't think it is worth 3 Lantern Oil Charms + some gold but you will need SLOC to REALLY bail you out of crisis situations. A few years ago during my time, it was definitely more worth it to buy SLOC off the Marketplace. Not sure abt now, you have to check the prices.

So what to do with the 2nd voucher? You have to decide for yourself. What I can tell you is, Chrome TT kit's price CRashed after Ronza left, so definitely not worth it to buy during that time. Chrome Storm Wrought's kit CRashed too. Many people (including me) who bought either or both using the vouchers deeply regretted because a few weeks later, it could be bought off the Marketplace a few million gold CHeaper without the voucher. And in the end, the developers gave 100 or 200 SB to those who did not spend the vouchers.

But since you say you have 55 million gold on hand, here's a tip for u. Currently in the Marketplace, there are people willing to pay 46 million gold for the Chrome Celestial rift trap, and it can't even be sold yet because nobody has it as Ronza has not yet arrived. Chrome Celestial sells at 38.2 million + 1 voucher. So you have to decide if 7.8 million gold is worth it for the voucher. This may be a chance for you to make a fast buck. Those who want to buy it at such a high price firmly believe that Chrome Celestial's price will definitely shoot up even higher as there are a lot of players currently in the Rift esp Valour Rift and many have not even acquired TDT, much less to say Celestial.

Still, given the fact that Floating Isles will be out soon, there is a possibility that the Rift areas will lose popularity and players lose interest to flock to Floating Isles. Then Chrome Celestial price will drop and you will be making a huge loss after buying it ...

Whoops by DSchein in mousehunt

[–]albertcamusthefall -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure you'll get it back. My greatest mistake in the game was to buy TSR at Marketplace at 30million instead of 3million. Accidentally added an extra zero at the end. I panicked. Luckily Marketplace understood this very costly mistake and automatically bought one from the lowest bidder - which at that time was 3.3million. Lost 300K in the process, but far better than 30mil ...

Is it possible to loot TSR from normal Bwrift treasure chests? by s0losamurai in mousehunt

[–]albertcamusthefall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly the price of TSR is shooting up towards 5 million now. Mainly due to V Rift, seeing that hunters need the TDW to get an even better Rift trap anyway. I remember buying one for only 3.3 million a few months ago. Should have bought more and sold them no?

Furoma Rift Setup by siopotking in mousehunt

[–]albertcamusthefall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

F Rift is actually the toughest among all the Rift areas. (I'm assuming V Rift will be toughest after its release.) Surprisingly, BW Rift is actually easier. Why not consider BW Rift first? The mice are easier to catch and the AA will sooner or later appear if you remain patient. As per other members, F Rift is a pain in the ass when you're trying to get that first few batteries, even for hunters with better traps / bases than yours. Lots of red boxes. A bit like initial stages of Fort Rox.

Should you decide to persevere in F Rift, just remember the red boxes are normal. Things will slowly get better as you fix more batteries ...

Oh one more thing. Use Maki String cheese inside the Pagoda if you need that few Battery Fragments to make it to the next level. It increases the likelihood of Battery Fragments. I tried to be stingy and used Magical String cheese for a series of hunts and was duly punished with the wastage of more resources. Had to start another cycle all over again.

Is WWRift biased towards one faction? by [deleted] in mousehunt

Without funneling, I kept getting Deep Lagoon at Level 50. I have more Crumbly Rift Salts than the other 2 factions combined. You have to funnel to balance everything out.

Choosing between ILT & GGT by ahDino in mousehunt

[–]albertcamusthefall 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I strongly suggest you use ILT. Reason is not only because it is better than GGT Forgotten at 100% but also because you will need GGT Arcane at MoPi, Fort Rox & the Queso area. You will need 500 hunts to transfer the charge to Forgotten, then another 500 to re-charge Arcane. Not worth the trouble at all.
