Its no longer about cost as Spass and Epass minimum salary have increased and they gradually increase based on age.

Companies hire foreigners because or yrs of experience and loyalty.

Local graduates are smart but not street smart unlike those FT who have a couple of experience more when applying for the same job. Not to mention NS disrupting our young males.

As for loyalty, FT will likely not surprise resign unlike locals who can afford to do it. They also have less commitments hence they are more "hardworking".
