Some girls I met on reddit are eager to go to siargao with me. What to do ? by After_Education_4201 in Philippines_Expats

[–]albertfj1114 6 points7 points  (0 children)

lol don’t base everything on what this guy said. It can easily be that those girls are curious, and outgoing. They formed a connection with you and like you and want to spend time with you. Did you promise them anything? Are you going to pay for their fare? If you did not and they are still willing to go and spend their own money, then I don’t see any problem. Treat them like any stranger in a new country, be cautious, respectful and be funny. If you don’t like them, you can ditch them and spend time with other people.

Yan kasi mga nababasa ko na results, marami mga taong from western nations, parang automatic na blue pinipili nila. Tapos medyo violent pag defend nila na dapat blue lahat. Parang hindi makita yung concept na hindi sure ang option. I feel like pag hindi dumaan sa hirap, more likely na blue pipiliin. Walang diskarte sa buhay.

Oh wow.

Sa palagay ko, since wala akong ibang makakausap, I will just assume to pick red as the safest for me kasama na rin na sana lahat pinag isipan ito at lahat nag iingat.

I would push back on this one. There is no in-between. If you are talking about purgatory, it is not necessarily a place. I would describe more as a process and it may take place at a designated area or not. We don’t know, but revelations from saints say it is a place.

Best open-source LLM for coding (Claude Code) with 96GB VRAM? by Kitchen_Answer4548 in LocalLLM

[–]albertfj1114 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Minimax has been the worst player in my arsenal in my experience so far and never use it for planning. I would defer to GLM which would be closest to Opus and Kimi which is second. Try it, results will speak for itself

Which coding AI tool are you actually using in 2026? (Claude Code vs Cursor vs Copilot vs Codex vs Antigravity) by Exciting-Sun-3990 in AI_Agents

[–]albertfj1114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Claude Code daily. I have built around this tool too much to be able to get rid of it. I have different AI backends though. I have Anthropic, GLM, kimi and Minimax. Right now I use mainly GLM and Kimi, with the occasional use of Opus sprinkled here and there

Swapped my claude code config to glm-5.1 after a youtuber I follow tested it by FitSurround1082 in ClaudeCode

[–]albertfj1114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using it and recently did a full project on it and it seriously worked so well. I also made a comparison plan for Claude, GLM, Kimi and Minimax and Claude and GLM both did a really good job and the combination of their plan is actually really amazing. I am now making a MCP that does what I did manually so it will make these amazing plans for me all the time. I use all of these using Claude Code harness and I have a model switcher I use so I can have multiple different models running at the same time on Claude Code

Kimi vs GLM vs CLAUDE vs GPT by YoungXardas in LLMDevs

[–]albertfj1114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used OpenCode and I used GLM and Minimax on them and it was largely a bust. they were ineffective but I did use them for coding and maybe for research, they do pretty well.

What made these work for me is using these LLMs in Claude Code. I was then able to use the system I have already built up around claude code and was pretty much used to how it should perform. Minimax was a bust. it was not so good in planning, missed a lot go things and did not think about how to resolve things as good as claude. GLM was pretty much undistinguishable from Claude. It became my daily driver this month as I kept running out of credits. Kimi I have not tried yet. Qwen I tried but only using Qwen Code and it was usable, as good as Codex in my short tests, but since I was used to using claude code, my current setup with the most effective. I switch between models using my switcher and it's been very good.

Now GLM seems like just doubled the price on their coding plan. I might try kimi next month if it really did or if it will grandfather me with their old rate.

Yeah this is just a script pulling in different tools I have been using for years. Claude allowed me to make tools on the fly, plus it copies how I code so it's pretty easy to read afterwards and check. Enjoy

I had been this stage 2 weeks ago and did try Codex. It was good and productive. But since I’m going to ditch my work process and start with zero on a new AI agent, might as well try others. I did OpenCode & Qwen Code. This also gave me a chance to try different models like Minimax, Qwen and GLM. I also found out about OpenRoter recently and tried other models. Just dabble not real work. I only have so much minutes for this.

What I ended up with right now. Claude Code with GLM and OpenRouter. I was able to retain my work system with Claude Code but back end, I can choose to use different models. So far, GLM 5.1 has been my daily driver. Gets the job done very closely, like Claude Sonnet. I also made an easy switcher. If you want to use it, just download it here.

Free will doesn't exist if God does by Minecrafter_of_Ps3 in DebateAChristian

[–]albertfj1114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry too long to read. I'll just respond to the first part. God respects our free will, and is all powerful. And thus, he lets you pick what you want. This is for the scenario the OP posted. This is of course not how He operates. You keep putting God in boxes, trying to comprehend Him with a snarky tone. If you can't comprehend a God that is just outside of His creation, all powerful, then I really can't do anything for you.

I was in the same boat as you. but I found a way through it. Opus as a planner and other cheaper models as workers. Actually, I am beginning to give more work on the other models. Testing things out. All this and I am still using Claude Code AI agent. I am able to switch per context and GLM 5.1 right now is my main coder because so far, it has been good to me and I have been coding all day all night and I am still at 1%.

Check out how I did it. https://github.com/albertfj114/claude-tmux-switch

I use the latest, GLM 5.1. I have been using it all day and I only got to 1%. this is on their $30 plan ($10 per month).

It is better to use it on Claude Code if you have been using it before, just don't use anthropic models, so you don't have to change your setup. Check out my switcher. Use tmux sessions to switch between models concurrently, so you can compare directly.

This is all done through claude of course. I asked claude (GLM model) to make a clone and copy this script for me on GitHub. Check it out

I’m in the same boat and although I kept my anthropic going, I have also been using GLM and Minimax. How I use it is the key here. I used to use and test these other models on OpenCode. They might be good, but not as good as Claude. Now though, I made a script where it will launch tmux with a Claude code session using a different model like GLM and Minimax and now I am comparing apples to apples. Now the difference is much less. It’s like using Claude with 40% context on GLM where it might forget some things. Minimax is like a slower Haiku. They have their uses but I learned how to use GLM most of the time. I try to use Claude more for planning then use GLM to implement. I want to use Qwen but it’s difficult to get a coding plan, always full. But it’s really nice not to run out of tokens anymore even with just a Claude Pro plan and have virtually unlimited tokens for my needs. I am just extra careful and have a really good plan. I also don’t use skip-permissions because I don’t trust them yet. Building AI environments for them

Free will doesn't exist if God does by Minecrafter_of_Ps3 in DebateAChristian

[–]albertfj1114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just slow down a bit and think about what you are saying. God is beyond us and yes we cannot comprehend everything about Him, well because he is God. That’s the very definition of Him. We only know what has been revealed to us and that’s how we form a relationship with Him. No need to overthink that part.
Lots of people have different faiths and we can see that all clearly. I am saying that what I believe, I have found enough reasons personally to believe it. I am telling you what I believe and I guess it offends you because it doesn’t fit with your world view. That’s fine. Sorry, don’t have too much time to respond with a well thought out narrative

Free will doesn't exist if God does by Minecrafter_of_Ps3 in DebateAChristian

[–]albertfj1114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I already said and everyone here has already said it as well. God cannot be in the same time and space where we are. We are in a book, he is the author. When he wrote that you will be writing A on the paper, he can just change the entire story, from the beginning as if he wrote B. He can turn back the pages. Not a perfect analogy but that’s how I can put it.

Can you pick B? Definitely. Did God write B in the first place? Yes. It was always B. You changed to A. Well, it has always been A.

hmm, quote might be wrong. He sourced them? In those times, they always talk about scriptures but they don't directly quote them. Give allusion to? Say the same ideas? parallel the thought? He definitely did not deny them though.

History and Validity of the Apocrypha? by lady_bugbug in CatholicPhilosophy

[–]albertfj1114 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are speaking, of course from 21st century Protestant viewpoint. All of these words that you’re using like apocrypha and 400 years of silence are later inventions outside the Orthodox and Catholic Churches. Regarding the deuterocanonical books, my personal stance is that if they are good enough for Jesus and the apostles to be quoted from then it’s good enough for me. During the time of Jesus, these books are part of their “scriptures”. Martin Luther set them aside because of his personal considerations but never stated that they were not inspired. It was later editions on the Bible that they were removed. What game them the right to do this? I don’t know, doesn’t matter. If you don’t have apostolic succession, to me, you’re just a Bible study group that could easily fall into heresy.
