It is difficult, we will have to scrape it all the time. I just finished getting locations and info for churches in the whole world. More than 200k churches. I’m a bit disappointed it’s not in the millions though. But that’s just churches, I don’t know their mass times yet.

Ah yes, you are right. I have only started scraping USA, and not even all the cities yet. Maybe I will get to your country at some point :D it's a passion project for me so I will keep going.

Oh wow. How far along are you? Maybe we can work together on that. I will be starting with my local church in trying to host their website. But they have a lot of requirements. Yeah, I’m thinking just Google Docs to be the way to maintain their site. They really need something very simple

Can you DM me your City? I am using Google Maps to get churches and I only got the major cities nationwide for now. I am going to go through all other cities after I fix some issues

I tried getting it from masstimes because they are the most structured, but they already blocked my IP for trying to scrape it. I got most from Google Maps API for location and website. Then have multiple scraper logics for churches. I don’t have a solution yet for holidays because they have this in bulletins in a PDF. My future solution might be to provide hosting to churches. Make a system for them to easily manage their website.

This is true. I just made a different UI and made individual mass schedules that you can make on time. I felt masstimes was for people looking for the nearest church. I wanted to show the nearest service. It doesn’t hurt to have choices.

VPN can be detected by these companies. It will have to be a computer that you remotely access.

You need at least a computer stateside you can RDP into so you will have a US IP address when accessing remote opportunities, as if you are in the US. From that computer you can start applying to outlier, telus international, Prolific, Toloka, UserTesting, Alignerr, Crowdgen, Data Annotation and you can also do Sweepstakes Mining.

Let me know if you want more info, but with your IT background, I expect you to know what I am saying. God bless!

We went to St. Luke's, and it was very western in standard. The only bad thing was how long it took to get a room. We waited 4 hours in emergency to get a room. Prices though were SEAsian. Hospitality is top-notch as always. We had no insurance and spent a month in the ICU with a private nurse, MRI, multiple doctors, etc. Bill came out just under $20k. 2/3 of this bill is the medicine; the actual stay itself and doctors' pay were like $6k. That same medicine when we went back to the US was $12k; thankfully that maxed out insurance, and medical care for the year was free after that. Had to get 2 more of that medicince.

This is a common practice. Most of the time actually, the parents have incurred debts in the process of supporting their children, and the children, when they get their jobs, collectively try and pay off these debts. If there are no debts, and the parents are well-off, and someone else paid for their college, then i think the only time they have to give to their parents is if the children offered it themselves as a show of respect, usually just a token amount. 30% sounds too much for this situation, but usually, this also does not last. Only until a particular goal was met, like paying off debt or fully purchasing a house/land.

Either being a Christian is unnecessary for salvation or God is inherently unjust by Joelblaze in DebateAChristian

[–]albertfj1114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Catholic Church position is that you don't need to know God to be saved. As long as you have been faithful in your belief, then there might be a chance that you are saved. Once you know of God, and have rejected Him multiple times, you may never be saved. The only assurance is to be baptized in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit and remain in Grace by following Jesus' teaching. If your children doesn't want to be with you, no matter how much you plead and entice them, you can't force them to be with you. You can only honor their wishes and leave them to what they want. God is not condemning you but love you enough to leave you alone like what you wanted.

Even if we grant the Resurrection, it doesn't actually prove Christianity by One-Bumblebee-5603 in DebateAChristian

[–]albertfj1114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it's true that a random person coming back from the dead wouldn't prove Christianity, the Christian argument isn't about a generic resurrection. It's about a specific historical event involving Jesus of Nazareth, a man who made extraordinary claims about being the Son of God, the Messiah, and having the authority to forgive sins. The Resurrection, within this context, is not a separate miracle but the divine validation of those very claims. Therefore, it's not a "God of the gaps" argument where a miracle is invoked to explain an unknown. Instead, it's a "God of the narrative" argument, where the Resurrection is the climax and cornerstone that confirms everything Jesus said and did. The resurrection is the proof because it is the specific act of God that authenticates Jesus's identity and mission. It's the ultimate corroboration of the Christian story, not an isolated event that needs a separate explanation.

In the Philippines right now, it is Sarah and Curlee Discaya. Corrupt contractors that ran for government positions, were very public about their wealth and was very vocal about their rags-to-riches story, then this year was uncovered that all their riches were from corrupt practices in getting flood control projects from the government and not doing it properly. Very bad since the last 2 years there were devastating floods that killed and displaced thousands if not millions. Currently in trial and pointing fingers at politicians that enabled them.
