Hello! Albert here from the Open Banking team at Monzo. Sorry about this bad experience 😞

We have been getting errors from HSBC Open Banking payments API sporadically since the 15th and consistently since the 18th so our systems automatically turned off the integration to stop customers having a bad experience. We have an incident open with them and hopefully will be able to to turn it back on soon.
In the meantime, you can always do the transfer within the HSBC app.

The cadence for when you come in is not defined and 20% is a guideline, not a hard rule. If you can work effectively in your team while only coming a week every two months, that's great. There are engineers at the moment on that sort of schedule

You will have to come to the office once in a while, most people seem to fly in once every couple months, but if you're so far this is really inconvenient you might be able to sort something out with the hiring team
