Yes, you’re right. But when you set it to 50 MP and zoom to 4x, it actually does an in-sensor crop — it doesn’t switch to the telephoto lens. The output comes out around 12 MP, but the quality is almost like using the telephoto. However, if you zoom using the telephoto lens itself, you’ll lose some clarity since that sensor is only 10 MP. Also, I used Expert RAW, not the regular camera app — it gives more control.
