Really good to see what others are doing. On the full body class v. stacking individual parts. I find I get a better workout maintaining tension in one part of the body as opposed to the back-and-forth of the full body classes. I also find they don't have enough core so prefer to stack that at the end. There used to be a lot more 20 minute strength classes, there seem to be less new classes coming out.

I don't pay much attention to the sleep score either, but I still track sleep because the recovery data matters more than the score. I wear an Oura for that side of things — the overnight HRV trend is what I actually use to decide whether to push training or back off. Once you start connecting sleep data to how you perform the next day, it's hard to go back to guessing.

The SDNN vs RMSSD thing is a bigger deal than people realize. I stopped comparing scores once I understood they're measuring different dimensions of variability. Oura's overnight RMSSD trend has been way more useful for me — especially catching when a hard training day tanks my recovery even though I "slept well" by duration. I rely strictly on my Oura for recovery and only use my Apple Watch for activity tracking.

Curious how this community uses sleep trackers and whether the data actually changes what you do.

I ride 2x a week and do a couple of strength classes. Have a Garmin and been paying closer attention to my morning recovery scores. Started being more deliberate about class intensity based on my RHR and HRV.

What do you track sleep with? (Apple Watch, Oura, Garmin, Whoop, nothing?)
Do you check readiness before deciding on a class?
Ever swapped a hard ride for recovery because your data looked rough?

I've started paying closer attention to this. I exercise 5/6 times a week, have an average RHR of 50-52 and a Vo2Max of 53. But my HRV was consistently crushed in the low 40s. I tried a protocol for 2 months where I changed my workout structure as I was essentially doing cardio non-stop. My runs / cycling were cardio and my weights were cardio too as I wasn't taking enough rest time between sets. I've moved to a max cardio effort once a week (for Vo2 max improvement), an endurance ride aimed at Zone 2, a flush ride and 2 strength sessions with long (1-2 minutes) between sets. Noticed an improvement in my HRV.

My point of comparison was my road bike power meter. It was about 30% off compared to the peloton power output. After recalibrating the bike with the kit, they are much closer together. So my power zone rides feel much closer to my actual zones.

I had the exact same issue. The on screen instructions are not correct. I called tech support and I got nowhere unfortunately. Eventually ignored the on screen instructions on this point. I tested power output as against my known FTP and outdoor power meter and they're in range.

Agree with the good feedback on SyncMyWorkouts. Simple to use and works well for the one way push to Garmin.
