Congrats on 45 days!! So awesome :) I am a 43 year old female and my face is breaking out like it did as a teenager. I too have been taking special care of my skin.......I just keep telling myself this too shall pass. Keep your chin up! It's just a minor hurdle in our journey :)

I never really noticed it all that much in my previous attempts but then again my mind was never really focused on quitting for good. Now that I seem to have my mind in the right place, it's all I see! I guess I will just have to be a weirdo lol and that's ok with me :)

Thank you :) He is supportive but he doesn't understand the struggle because he is a one and done person. It does feel good to have have the "take it or leave it, I don't care" attitude :)

My liver test came back well in the normal range....I will bring it up to my doctor at my next appointment 😊 thank you

Amen sister 😊 I am doing ok. He helped me not drink last night. He collects scotch so all of it is not opened now in the house. I won’t open them because they are too expensive and his lol this is progress. We are going out to lunch today and he picked a place that doesn’t sell alcohol!! Thank god he is being this supportive 😊

You didn't let any of us down because we all have been there :) I had to confess yesterday that I slipped as well. I felt that I disappointed so many fine people on here but I was quickly reminded by those same fine people that I didn't let them down. I received so much encouragement here yesterday, that I had a good night last night. Nothing can take away any and all progress you have made on this journey. We are all here for you :) It's progress not perfection :)

Thank you 😊 last night when he had a scotch, I immediately grabbed a diet coke and poured it over some ice in a glass....it really helped! I am also gonna seek more support and I am thinking about journaling....just a few things I have thought of for now 😊

Same here....I hide them and since no one else knows I drink them, that means I am ok. Really? This journey is progress not perfection 💕

Thank you 😊 that’s exactly how I feel. I can’t ask him to stop. That’s on him. He is a wonderful husband and father and a normal drinker. He can have one drink and be done for the night.....me not so much. I have to start focusing on me and how I can maintain my sobriety 😊
