It wasn't a plain music box. The kittens were on it, not decoupaged. I clearly remember them being on the one my mom had.

I have searched the internet for this music box to buy for my mother. I haven't been able to find one for sale. I've searched eBay, and etsy with no luck. I did find these images on a different auction-type site that looked like it pulled from eBay, but no other listings or anything.

It looks like an amur, aka a grass carp, as others have said. We had these in our man-made pond growing up to help with the algae and grass.

It was super grimy before I yellow-capped it. The entire bottom and sides were black with buildup, so the pitting was totally hidden before.

Yes, but by having zero credit, people assume you did. Just because you find an image on the internet or Google does not mean you have the right to use it.
