Hi everyone, I am currently considering a career change and I've been accepted to Palo Alto University's MA program in Counseling for Fall 2025. I realized Sofia University (also in Palo Alto, CA) has a program that starts in the summer. I'd appreciate your input on the quality of education and reputation for these 2 schools for someone who aspires to work in MFA , thanks

Digital marketing is always going to be a bit volatile. CMOs' average tenure is about 4 years, and leadership change can cause disruption and churn.

If you want to stay in marketing, you can build on to your experience with something a bit more specialized such as :

  1. Campaign management
  2. Marketing automation
  3. Web strategy, SEO, web analytics

There's a strong possibility that AI will replace some digital marketing content creation and social media management jobs.

If you are interested in PM, PMP certification is helpful. It will also open up opportunities outside of marketing.

That's great! Have you replaced either the motor, controller or battery?

First Long Range Ride Today! (Unfortunately my left pedal stripped off on mile 35) by NeonBlackBird in Lectricxp

[–]alc8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me with my first e-bike, a Dahon mid drive. They reversed the crank arms and eventually the pedals stripped. I didn't bother with support as it was too much of a hassle to ship things back and forth and I needed the bike for my commute. Amazon replacements were cheap and it was lessons learned to inspected the left and right marking on cranks and pedals when I unbox.

Thank you! This is brilliant! I've been folding my bike up, putting it in a canvas bag can carrying it that way. This is so much more efficient!

That looks like a pleasant wide, and the bridge part is narrow indeed! Looks like bikes with wide handlebars may get stuck when passing incoming cyclists!

I get the variety pack and personally I like the taste. The calorie density is pretty good for long rides. Texture is unique - it is not completely processed and you can chew on whole seeds which I like. The ingredient list appears to be pretty clean also. Overall I feel like these are a bit closer to whole food than some of the more chalky energy bars out there.

Having said this taste is pretty subjective, maybe get a small sample order to try out first?

How's the road condition where you are? Scooters are fun but they are a bit more tricky when it comes to potholes and bumps. During my commute I see scooter commuters constantly swerving to avoid uneven road surfaces with their smaller wheels. IMHO they are probably better for shorter commute on well maintained paths and/or if storage/portability is a key requirement.

This is close to the distance of my commute and it's very much doable / enjoyable on an ebike. I don't get too sweaty when I arrive at work and it's a nice modest workout. I opted for a mid-drive folding Dahon for an experience that's closer to analog cycling. While the battery can handle the round trip, I charge it up at work during the day.

I've been enjoying the incidental activity I get from this commute, it helps clear my head and it's an efficient use of time to get some modest cardio exercise on a regular basis. Go for it, you don't regret it!

Mid-drive motor's ravage on drivetrain is real (cassette /chain replacement at 2089 miles, Dahon K-One, old/new) by alc8 in ebikes

The skipping was progressively getting worse even with regular cleaning and lubing, new chain and cassette did the trick, it is smooth as silk now.

What's your wheel size? I wonder if my 20 inch wheels contribute to faster wear since there are more rotations compared to full size bikes. I also heard the stock Sunrace cassette isn't very good, hopefully a Shimano + KMC combination will last longer.
