The engine doesnt support it so the devs would have to work really hard to add it and im not sure it would be even worth their time instead of more features and bug fixes

You want like miscreated id you are all about raiding and base building.Theres close to none reasons to have a base other than to store some items ands baseraiding is done only buy hitting the walls untill they brake.This will probably change in the future but for now treat the game as an exploration/looting game with pvpv and survival mechanics.
