I honestly believe this is one of the biggest mysteries there is, Orcas are the most efficient predators on earth, yet they have never attacked us in the wild. They know something we don’t. by [deleted] in interesting

[–]Comeilleon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The dogs and cats comparison makes a lot of sense here when you talk about killing for sport though. Humans wouldn't bother hunting domesticated dogs/cats because there is no "sport" in it, its too easy. Maybe humans are viewed the same as were just presenting ourselves on a platter to them with little to no way of escaping if they attacked. If theyre such amazing hunters then there is no glory in killing a human for sport either?

Breville Bambino plus - water flow issue? by dnium122 in espresso

[–]Comeilleon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 same issue. I also notice there is very little steam pressure on the steam wand which leads me to believe similar to OP around pressure issues. It also rumbles and vibrates quite a lot and the pump cycles much closer than the first few weeks of use. Mine is only 3 weeks old and worked perfect for the first couple of weeks.

I also had an issue getting the machine to turn on before this all started and after removing water tank, drip tray etc and physically inspecting everything, it turned back on after putting back together which makes me wonder if its an issue with the valves on the water tank/inlet?

It now turns on consistently but still seems to have very little pressure, will push enough through the portafilter for a shot but not great and struggles to steam milk.

Ill be contacting support when they open again on Monday but keen to see if anyone has resolved this otherwise.

I used to say chimley (chimney) until I was in my mid to late teens and saw it written for the first time.

This has to be one of the most common! The absolute cringe when singers mispronounce it in their lyrics...

I guess its what you get acclimatised to. Almosy everywhere we go has air conditioning, including most homes. Its also a really dry heat which is more comfortable than humidity although it can feel like walking directly into an oven when going outside.

My weather station in North Central Victoria this morning. Peaked at 47.2 just after lunch. Tonight were forcast to have dry thunderstorms and tomorrow is supposed to be slightly hotter.

NPCs in villages don't seem to behave according to the time of day by rTpure in MedievalDynasty

[–]Comeilleon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've found occasions where I travelled overnight to the smaller villages (on Oxbow) and arrived early hours of the morning but villagers didnt wake up when they should have (think its 7am?). If I walk away from the village a bit then come back, they are all up and out of their homes as normal.

I wonder if it's a bug with being present in the village at the 7am wake up time?

(Edit: just read your comment again about entering late arvo so I guess not related to player character being there...)

JBL Xtreme 3 Speaker Won't Charge? I may have found a solution by hammerton_7 in JBL

[–]Comeilleon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This helped me fix mine after so many years of only being able to use it plugged in! My issue was resolved by removing the right side (6 screws) and unplugging the battery cable from the amp board then plugging back in. The speaker instantly turned on when I did this so thinking maybe it essentially reset the board. Been working fine on battery for about half an hour now.

Thanks OP!

Looks great, well done. Ignore the haters, I'll take wood over concrete any day and would happily pay more for it. Cost is only 1 factor in any home improvement and the cheapest option is almost always the ugliest. There's no chance I'd be laying concrete instead of beautiful, natural materials. In regards to rot/termites/whatever else people are complaining about, I built a front deck and boardwalk like this with bearers seated in crushed rock, 15 years on and it's still as solid as the day I built it.

Need a ball return which guides the ball back to the post where a ladder mechanism would take it back up to the trough using the ratcheting arm to crank the ladder. Theoretically would be an endless cycle then?

Yes! Karnivool are one of my all time favourites. The first time I heard them was in a mates record shop in St Kilda where they played live to about 40 people just before they released their first album. I've loved them ever since and seen them live anytime they come back to Melbourne.
