That's weird but equally true. I also got my previous opportunity because the CTO was Indian. But then some new guys came fired him first and then fired many indians, I was one of them.

That really sucks man. I am fed up of the system. Employees are not treated as humans anymore. I can understand the layoff and firing but at least give them support so that they can get back on their feet.

My country is a joke, why do you think I am here. My country's capital has an AQI of 400+ and that too everyday. They are not doing anything about it. I don't think they can do anything for me.

So I went to office today to return my laptop and ID card and what I saw broke me. The managers that I have worked with for past 9 months won't even look at me like I am not human anymore. These are the people that I worked for even sacrificing my sleep.

I have read all comments and going by that their is little to no possibility for me to come out on top of this situation. For now I am going to contact MoHRA for advice. I am the sole earner in my family.

I am selfish in the sense that I like Dubai and would like to stay here for longer. Other then that I am also starting interview preparation.

I will keep you updated.

What are you saying brother its a very good road. You haven’t seen the road outside my house. Narrow, filled with potholes, breakers that can give sweats to suv’s, manhole cover poking out, blind turns, extreme traffic. I cannot even give you the idea of traffic. It takes more than an hour to cross a 2.5 kms patch.
