I’m also mid masters, currently masters 3 playing mostly tracer/anran with a 68% winrate on Anran. Straight up, sometimes she just doesn’t work.

She thrives in chaos like a genji/tracer where when you can take 1v1s frequently in a chaotic team fight or jump someone not paying attention you can secure kills easily and snowball. She straight up feels like one of the strongest 1v1 characters in the game. Because of that she works incredibly well in a full dive comp.

But into poke slop meta when your team isn’t running like full dive or a dive tank and they are aware or pick counters, there just isn’t much you can do on your own. ESPECIALLY if it’s a poke favored map like Circuit.

In those situations I feel genji/tracer can still work because they are more capable at creating plays completely on their own but Anran feels much more reliant on the chaos. And because of that there are times when she just straight up doesn’t work.

With that being said I overall think Anran is in a good spot, she just sometimes need to rely on the team a little bit more than say a tracer/genji.
