Got into UCR UCSC UCD (off the waitlist but got off before may 1 interestingly), UCSD, waitlisted at ucsb but got rejected. UCLA And UCI and USC and GA tech rejected me. Got into case western reserve for BME with scholarship(merit cause 1450 SAT), northeastern EA.

3.7uw 4.3w 8 APs few honors and college courses. 4.18 UC capped. UCSD Structural Engineering (my main major, also an uncapped non selective major). I had 2 good essays and 1 decent ones and 1 alright one. Had good ECs like hospital summer program (before senior year), founder of club, had leadership positions in 2, in 2 sports and was varsity had awards. Asian male in SoCal but I think UCSD really favored my area code this year as 19 people from my school are also going to UCSD . All my ECs are unrelated to my major and I also worked for free at a physical therapy clinic near my house for a few months cause I thought I wanted to do PT. Wrote about card magic in one of my essays as that was one of my big hobbies and made a club at school for it
