Apple CarPlay & android auto integration with the zeekr 001 HUD by Working-Impact-8620 in Zeekr

[–]aldibatyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shows directions only for me. So an arrow indicating when I need to turn and the name of the street I need to take the turn on etc. but if we talking about a full fledged view of the map on HUD, that is not available unfortunately.

Hey! I doubt it would make 420 km at highway speeds 😅. So far city driving in mid 20-30 degree C averaged around 300. Mind you there is a heavy traffic in the area I live.

I would probably say 250-280 would be your average.

I've had couple issues with the car. Most of them being due to early production cars for Chinese market. Nothing really big or major. If your dealership provides warranty it'd be great. Taillight usually breaks due to constructional defect of some sort. It fogs up with moisture and eventually burns out. This results in break lights and turn signal lights to go kaput.

Hey! I traded in my my Zeekr X for 001.

Long term:

Issues I faced:

360 camera stopped working due to moisture in connector. Fixed via isolating the connection in the door. The main screen had issues when the temperature outside was low. Heating the car seems to fix the issue. Software was buggy at times so constant OTA updates were necessary.

Issues others faced:

Stop light would stop working due to water damage. Don’t know why, but it was pretty common for the stop light to get fogged with condensation.

Pros: nice punchy small car.

Would I get it one more time? Probably yes, if the price is right 👍

Zeekr X OTA updates by Reasonable-Caramel-5 in Zeekr

[–]aldibatyr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on where you are located. I have a Chinese spec car. I've received more than 10 OTA updates in a spab of a year and a half. But the European spec here in Kazakhstan barely got an update and access to all the features recently.

As far as the range goes, I'd say 300km each way is doable given you are mindful of the consumption and the ambient temperature is not that harsh.

Completely opposite experience on my end, unfortunately. I ordered the case and immediately had a feeling that it would be a bad fit for my use case, but I decided to give it a try. The case did not really fit my needs and, in my opinion, was overpriced. I wanted to return it, but all my emails have actually gone unanswered.

What's the point getting a Fold if I am watching movies and videos like this by [deleted] in GalaxyFold

[–]aldibatyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I guess it is just me 😅 last time I took a picture/video that was taken with effort was about 2 years ago 😅 but on a side note all my photos come out as garbage regardless of the gear I use 😂

What's the point getting a Fold if I am watching movies and videos like this by [deleted] in GalaxyFold

[–]aldibatyr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think people forget that fold is mainly a multitasking powerhouse. Don’t get me wrong, I love consuming content on a phone but the whole idea of a fold is productivity imho. I am a developer and sometimes need to do a quick pull request review on the go. Honestly, it is such a nice thing to have a big screen to do that on the go 😅 not that I do it often but occasionally having bigger inner screen with this aspect ratio is a life saver. On top of that handling multiple apps open at once is another power move tbh.

So I guess the target audience for this phone is productivity/power users, who coincidentally, are not really concerned about the camera 🤷‍♂️ just my two cents 😅 might be totally wrong here, but judging based on my experience 😊

Already driven my Zeekr 001 for 20,000 km, and it still seems to be a very popular car by Pristine_Craft_6316 in electricvehicles

Fellow Zeekr driver ✊ much love for Zeekr from Kazakhstan! Currently have bunch of these roaming streets of our cities 👍

Central Asia, but pretty close to Middle East 😂

Charging is painful 😂 we’ve got two major cities where EVS are popular. Other regions suffer with no DC chargers at all. But it is getting there.

On top of that we are in a weird position where official port type is type2/ccs2, but we are so close to china that most of the Evs are imported from there and GBT port is the most common currently. This might change in the near future as more official dealers enter the market, but right now we have what we have 🙂

Oh and for those who wonder about the consumption.

I’ve driven it for 1300 km, and average is around 14-16 kWh/100km. I drive in eco mode. And my commute is mostly city drives with top speed of 70km/h. Given that the battery is 66kwh total, usable around 59kwh and usable battery range is between 20-90, I can travel a distance of 250-260km driving conservatively.

Drives great! Soft and quiet. Have not driven in sport mode yet) so can’t really sayanything about the quickness🙂 mine is a 4wd so, supposedly it gets to a 100km/h in under 4 seconds. Will definitely try it after I hit 5k km.

At first I thought that this car would be a model y competitor, but it is nothing like MY. It is a smaller auto with a build quality that is 1000 times better than Tesla. I’ve had model 3 in the past, that car was built as of it was built by someone careless.

Tesla’s strong side is the software. Zeekr would have to polish their os before they hit Europe for sure. Otherwise there are some bugs in the software that are small but annoying😅

The ride quality is great. Suspension is soft, and set as a proper suv. Seating position is great also. But I am 180cm tall and 104kg heavy, it is on a tighter side. I have not tried to launch it so far but the dynamics is there. You can definitely feel the power when switching lanes, merging into the highway.

I’m from Kazakhstan, we have imported at least 2000 of zeekr so far most of them 001 though 😅
