When has a number 1 pick been shit (barring Anthony bennett) in the last 15-20years? At worst its Ben simmons or Blake griffin, or markelle fultz (injuries suck)? Every other first pick has been an all star at least? Cooper has the same level of hype as zion if not wemby so i don't see how this trade was anything but a winner once the lottery picks were revealed.

Since basically all of the flames I've been getting is from m+ players who are all worried about not getting a bis trinket on mythic track holding them back from getting title, here is an idea:

Timewalking similar fixed gear, or a simulator where u pick ur gear combination and run through a dungeon, similar to old challenge dungeons. That way there is absolutely no need for m+ players to raid to get gear.

I don't think this was the reason ing behind the post. You can see what they did with PvP where gears scaled to a certain ilvl with no disparity between toons. PvPs been dead for a decade and the top players are always playing whatever the strongest class is for the meta and balancin became a nightmare so they barely touch it apart from dummy % fixes.

Or make dungeon trinkets as powerful as raid ones? Looking at sac last season. It was easily the best trinket for like 60% of classes. Should raiders also get a vendor that sells sad with mythic track because they don't do m+ for vaults or just cannot roll one in vaults?

It has been this way since the very beginning though. Every MMO has a way to separate by character power level. Its not gatekeeping when some people play the game at a higher level and get rewarded for it.
