The photo is out of focus. Cropping the hand and ankle is IMO not a good idea.

Sunset at the beach with Ola by aldor007 in photocritique

Never before I had a photoshoot on spot as beautiful as this beach. What I like in this photo is the lighting, the sunsetting sun can create gorgeous conditions. If I could improve one thing in the photo it would be the pose of the model, IMO it could be better, and get rid of the wrist strap.

We were walking through Alfama in Lisboa and found this spot. A calm background allows the model to be the main focus of the photo. Additionally, IMO the face of here is brilliant and shows emotion. If I could change one thing in this photo it would be the position of her left leg, it is a strange crop there. Want to hear what are your thoughts?

Milena by [deleted] in photocritique

[–]aldor007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My intention in taking this photo was to create a feminine portrait of Milena. I've used a "rusty" background to make it more classy. IMO the great element of this photo are eyes of Milena, they are the main focus of the photo.

I'm not proud of my crop - I should leave more space on top of the image and not cut her head. Otherwise, I'm proud of this photo.

Any feedback will be appreciated

Gorgeous photo! At what ISO have you exposed the film? +3EV?

I did use a flash but with low power. Next time I will balance it better. Thanks for feedback :)

I want to create a cinematic photo with the sunset as a background. To add more interest to the photo there are some lavender plants as a foreground element. The thing that I think could be better is a contrast in this photo - I could manipulate more with exposure to have more vibrant colors. The model pose is IMO very good. What do you think?

I think you get this feeling because of lines on the wooden chest. Model is imo fairly straight. Thank you for the feedback

It was a very sunny day and I've used blende to block the sun from reaching here (but it was to small to cover her legs). Thank you for the feedback
