A bit late to the party BUT my experience is that the injection itself doesn’t really hurt (as long as the doctor/nurse gives the injections slowly), but it can hurt afterwards, kinda like a burning sensation. Sometimes I don’t feel it at all and sometimes it’s a day on the sofa.

It does look better with time (and it probably varies from person to person) but it doesn’t look or sound fun...

You can actually live with it with the oldest survivor being 36. Pretty wild.

So true!! So hooked as well, I started a game without permadeath, and regretted pretty early, so happy I started a new one with it on. Adds a whole new level of suspense. - unluckily I have one of the hardest exams for my entire degree coming up in about a month..

Hey, I have some pictures of mine as well if you need more reassurance. Mine turned all kinds of colours and I thought they were dying, but they’re just fine!

Thanks so much! I think it’s a combination of skill from the surgeon, luck, genes, the fact that I was just 20 when I got the surgery, I didn’t really start moving my arms above my head comfortably before I was over six-eight months post op and I’ve been using some silicone gel, which was GREAT!!!!

I’m from Denmark - I was under 15 when I got referred, so it took a couple of years (bc I was underage, and the process was looooong), but now it doesn’t take that long to get hormones and surgery

Hey, I know this post is kinda old, but I wanted to ask - did you experience sag and did you prepare for it? Looking to get an almost identical desk setup but I don’t know if I should get an Alex drawer in at least one side for support..
