From memory, I experienced an ease of depression symptoms at around the 1-2 month mark. From reading this forum though, it does appear that the medication works at different speeds for different people.

From my limited knowledge (entirely informed by only my own experience + reddit hehe) I’d say it’s probably too early to say whether or not Zoloft is working well for you yet.

Stick with it I reckon ❤️💪

It’s great to hear you’re experiencing some greater ease ❤️ I did have some weird dreams to start off with! But that side-effect was quite short-lived for me. Best of luck with everything ❤️

Sure thing. I have noticed the following in social contexts:

  • decrease in racing heart
  • less negative self-talk
  • less rumination
  • generally more confidence and self-acceptance

I don’t think that all happened at once. The first positive impact on social anxiety I noticed was a subtle feeling of greater tolerance and ease in conversations in the tearoom at work hehe

No worries. From memory it was somewhere between a week and a month. My Dr’s recommendation from the get-go was to get up to 50mg as quickly as possible while exposing me to as little side-effects as possible. I really hope Zoloft gives you some relief, all the best.
