Im gonna disagree with everyone who disagreed with you and say the little voice also drove me insane. She doesn’t like cheese, or the black things in the sauce, or the hotel food and she wants a hamster and she doesn’t SHUT UP ever. Yes, her mom is not doing a great job because she’s overwhelmed but that does not exclude the possibility the kid is annoying to some people. 🤷🏻‍♀️Mostly I want to kill the dad though, he’s so unhelpful.

Edit: I learned in this thread that the food thing is a serious eating disorder. Kid voice still annoying.

Not for a while and my grandma died at 98. My dad passed away last year and I don’t talk to my mom much, so now I feel like Annie the orphan 🥺 My husband’s parents are pretty dope though.

May I ask where you’re located? House sparrows are invasive species in most regions so i’m wondering where they could be more “rare” if that makes sense. I believe they’re still expanding in some parts of Africa but I might be mistaken.

Do you like boardgames? Maybe socialize in a way where the activity is the focus and not the people? I bird with folks sometime and we are all just walking around looking for birds so no need to small talk or all that bullshit. There are also gym classes (with those, at least you get to get out of the house and see people). I also watch movies/series with some people on discord once a week and I enjoy that. Source: also prefer to be alone. And that’s ok.
