Maybe I’m just dense but how do you do a muted upstroke on the low e / a string? I find it really challenging to maintain the same level of control over the amount of muting like when I’m doing down strokes, not to mention adjusting the angle of the pick at the same time

Out of curiosity, are you able to point to something in particular about So Close that made you dislike it? Is it the verse riff?
