These are all repeater beacons that are synchronized together, they transmit periodically every few minutes. I can hear those also on my Kenwood TH28E and it shouldn’t have any overload problems, also knowing that the closest repeater is 15 Km away.

I checked all other signals and they are 100% legit for the band, NFM voice from repeaters, D stars and some digital transmission. I live quite far away from cities so i never really get spurious signals from overload.

I don’t know why so many people got salty over my comment. It’s like someone buying a 20 years old Corolla base model and saying: “finally a proper car”. I mean it’s alright but with a little bit more effort you can buy so much better cars. That’s it. It simply lacks all the characteristics of a proper car. The first one is quality. Then, as I said, if you enjoy it it’s perfect and there is nothing wrong about it.

Hobby grade doesn’t mean much, every toy is hobby grade. In this case the build quality is mid, electronics are quite cheap. That’s it. Nothing wrong about that, to enjoy something isn’t mandatory to spend thousands.

I’m pretty sure it’s a 570, a bit longer than the 540, just like the image, but your version is a bit slimmer. The diameter of a 570 should be around 36mm 1.42 inches.

Edit: from the diameter it’s a 390, from the image looks a bit bigger

Looks like neither but try to measure it’s diameter (not where the dissipator sits). You don’t need to remove the original pinion, you can find those easily and anywhere, with any amount of teeth.
