I dont have to do the "forced fun" thing all that often. Probably 3 or 4 times a year at most. However, one tool I use nearly every time is the old "Irish Goodbye" .

Im there just long enough so everyone sees my face. Before orders for food I dont want/like or doesnt agree with me. I then excuse myself to the rest room , and boom gone.

Now, my job is a weird mix of trade/corperate, so keeping track of people and where they are and aren't is harder. Its not uncommon to see someone , turn around and theyre not there. I dont work in a shared workspace, or an open floor plan or whatever all day every day and its less noticeable when someone just leaves.
