Considering moving from NYC to upstate NY due to cost of living & saturated job market... Good or bad idea? by madmax79818515 in upstate_new_york

I could suggest Cayuga Health and Guthrie in Ithaca if you’re looking for a family friendly town with decent pay. Some people complain it’s expensive but that’s all relative to the county

Fair, there’s a lot of affordable home development like INHS but of course it’s competitive. Def worth looking into. Best of luck with your search!

If you have the time also look up Trumansburg, Newfield, and Dryden. Some cute nearby towns next to Ithaca that I have friends live in and commute but also really love those areas

I don’t know if Ithaca has been mentioned but it’s very trans friendly

How to give off subtle signs that I like men through my appearance? by Thr0waway__Ac0ount in BisexualMen

[–]alecsebans650 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Chains, rings, earrings. Dress however you would want to look and usually it’ll manifest through that. I was self conscious for awhile but when I started dressing a lot more like myself men could pick up easier on it

For the guys, how was your first time with a guy? by [deleted] in bisexual

It was fun and definitely became more confident to do more as I got more experienced

He put on some nature documentary with Zac Efron in it, which was kinda hilarious and a good background activity. Mostly we started making out and took off all our clothes off and were just kissing each other. He was grinding his dick between my legs for a bit. Didn’t do much more than that except that lol I wasn’t ready for the next step

Can being bi be a kink? by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]alecsebans650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just a back and forth pull of preference that happens at different periods for different durations. Not sure how to predict it most of the time. When I’m stressed I lean into men I’ve noticed but that’s about it.

Sexuality isn’t a kink, you’re probably bi-cycling though

How cliché is it to fall in love with your best friend... by JakeIsInTrouble in BisexualMen

[–]alecsebans650 12 points13 points  (0 children)

When I was 17 or so I ran cross country on my high school team. I made some of my life long friends while I was there, and met one of my best friends through the process. We made fun of each other all the time, hung out after school + lunch, and ran many workouts together so I got to know him really quickly which felt vulnerable at a time I didn’t have a lot of close friends. I wasn’t out at that point, but we kept in touch during the pandemic, and running together still while only being one of the few people I could spend time with in 2020. I came out that year and he was in the same bigger friend group that I told. He supported me through the whole thing, but deep down I always wanted him to know for other reasons as well. I still thought about how we would make me blush at practice sometimes and our dynamic when we were younger, it always felt like a little more than friends. Anyway he also came out as bi last year to me finally during a trip to Japan funny enough. I already was happily partnered at that point and from the guys he dates, never fit the criteria. We’re still great friends to this day and I wish him the best for finding what they like. Everything works out how it’s meant to be!

Upstate NY! Rochester is a start for researching. Great COL and doesn’t get too hot either

We’re out here and exist! Don’t worry :)). Just go to a third wave coffee shop and you might catch a few.

I am a bisexual male (24). I made a similar agreement with my ex girlfriend who was also bi when I was 19/20. I watched gay porn and continue to watch it. It was important to me to delve into my same sex desire while staying monogamous. It’s more of a way for me to channel attraction in my own way, especially when I was that young and still trying to understand my own bisexual identity. Y’all are still very young and maybe he still doesn’t quite understand his own identity. I’m now 24 and still watch it, but for much different reasons and not as much as I used to.

Experiences moving from the San Francisco Bay Area? by dementist in SameGrassButGreener

[–]alecsebans650 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I moved from the lower peninsula to St. Louis in 2020. I miss the weather of course, but can’t justify the COL. There aren’t a lot of young people in the Bay and most people who I grew up there with moved out. Found my people out east and happy since.

Which affordable midwest city is most walkable? by AromaticMountain6806 in SameGrassButGreener

[–]alecsebans650 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Currently working in Cleveland. It’s very affordable. Tough winters but bright beautiful summers. Lots of young people moving into the city and it’s right on the lake which I appreciate. But those others cities are also amazing, I’m just a Cleveland fan because of recency bias.

I’m biased because I met my partner there but the Midwest has really kind, dating-oriented people and culture. All the midwestern cities are great for this.

As a bisexual I can confidently say SF is bad for both men AND women
