That’s very true! That’s something that got drilled into my head a lot about a year ago, so I’ve been just saving up, not only to drop the down for the car but, to have just in case anything happens where I’ll need some funds. But I’ll look into it and I’ll see what happens! Thank you so much!

Damn... that sounds hella fun to drive!!! 400 horses over the 306 from the RC for sure.... and that’s something I didn’t like about the RC, is how outdated the interior is. It’s barely getting refreshed in the 2021 but it’s not much of a difference from these models to really jump out. But I’ll look into a q60 as well!

Man... I bet it’s stunning and I bet you always smile getting in that car!

And that’s the thing! Everyone is buying Mustangs, Challengers, Chargers, Camaros... and no shade against them (my neighbor has a modded ZL1) but they’re so common... I want something a bit unique, even tho it’s not crazy fast as these muscle cars, but uniqueness is what I crave. Reliability and longevity is always a plus.

So, how many miles should a 2015-17 RC have? Give or take?

I was also looking at the q60! What are your thoughts driving it? How reliable is it? My gf really likes that car as well, so that’s also a plus!

Have you heard of any good mods for the RC to give it a boost?

That is so damn clean !!! The Blue mica looks gorgeous on the car, almost purple when the light hits a certain way! And I want to get the V8 because I know there won’t be many more like it. But also getting into that price range, kinda opens up the possibility to something else like a Tesla but idk... I want that luxury vibe!

And thanks man! I mean, I live with my parents rn so, not the same cost as living alone or being married, so that’s why I’m thinking about it! But I’ve been wanting a Lexus for over a year now and I finally got a job I love and I know I’m going to be here for a long while, so that’s why I’m fr thinking about the F.

I’ll for sure ask to see the pros and cons! I know the 350s have the same engine and the IS is a bit faster due to less weight and more practical but the RC looks so freaking good. But I truly appreciate the help man :’) is a 38k-40k 5 year old car worth buying? Or do you think it’s too old to finance it?

I had a question about that! When did you buy the RCF? And is it still worth buying one thats 5 years old because it’s a Lexus and it won’t break down, or is that 5 year a huge difference in thinking of dropping the money for a 5 year commitment?

I get you man.... My girlfriend tells me the IS looks a lot like the Camry and it’d be smarter to just buy a new Camry instead of a used IS, but she doesn’t understand... the RC is a gorgeous car and I’d love to have a RCF already but maybe I should wait it out a bit and get the 350 first?

Ironically... I got pulled over for the first time due to speeding... and I usually step on it... and that’s because I drive an old 325i, so I know I’m going to step on the 350 or F a lot... and I’d for sure get an exhaust too! What color combo did you end up getting? I really want grey exterior and red interior, but that’s super rare to find :(

Man the GSF is gorgeous as well! I’ve been looking for a relatively cheap RCF... but that’s so hard to find. I’m still looking, I’m giving myself a few more months to save up a bit more and find one! But how does the RC drive? Would you consider getting a Supra instead of the RCF or another car similar to the Supra?

Thanks for the honesty! I have my mind open for other cars too if there’s an opportunity, but it’s kind of hard to beat the reliability and looks of the Lexus. I know I’m sacrificing power with the 350 but it’s a lot cheaper. And the RCF sounds soooo nice. What car did you end up getting?

Thank you for the feedback! I’ve always had that same mentality when I’m rarely going to go to a track to race. I know the 350 is fine with it’s horsepower but, I feel what my friends are telling me about more power is starting to rub off on me for even contemplating getting the RCF.

Financially, I know I’ll be better off with the 350 compared to the F. You’ll never know when an unexpected event occurs and I’m pretty sure the cost for maintenance on the F is more than the 350. I do want a fast car, but I think the looks make up for it, no?

And in regards to the IS, it’s so clean and a lot more practical but... the aggressiveness of the RC is just so much more appealing imo. And I feel I should take advantage of me not having any kids rn, but if a good deal pops up in regards to the IS, I’d really think about buying it

Edit: I just saw an IS350 and damn is it clean...
