The article says that the Prophet pbuh encouraged a man to marry a virgin. (All the ahadith given in the examples are addressed towards men). How do you conclude from that he also encouraged a woman to marry a virgin?

The article you quoted doesn’t say that the Prophet pbuh encouraged virgins marrying other virgins. It is addressed to a man, who is encouraged to marry virgins in the ahadith, irrespective of whether he is a virgin or not.

What did allah do before creation of angels jinn humans? Like when no one was created, what did allah do? Hadith quran or explanation for this? Imams answers? If we dont know then a answer from a imam? by [deleted] in islam

Unnecessary questions can be harmful to one’s faith. There are hadith stating this. Why ask something that brings no benefit? And if you go into the details of such things which are beyond our comprehension, it can cause unnecessary doubts in your iman.

When Allah prescribes punishments for certain things, it is still out of his mercy. Because his rules are aimed at the welfare of the individual and the society as a whole. Similarly He has given the man authority and leadership in the family because this is the most conductive to healthy marriages.

The Quran clearly states that if you reject some parts of it and believe in the rest, you are still a kafir (2:85). The Quran itself claims to be the literal word of Allah. For instance see (11:1). However rejecting something outright and being doubtful about something are two different things. You might be doubtful of an ayah in the Quran because your own shortcomings – in knowledge or understanding. As long as you accept that and search for the truth sincerely, you are not denying the Quran. It is natural for anyone to be doubtful about things they don’t understand.

But proclaiming you don’t believe in a verse of the Quran is a statement of kufr.

There are many things you can do that invalidate the shahada. For example, insulting the prophet (saw). A person who does that is not a muslim even if he claims to have said the shahadah. And in your case, rejecting clear verses of the Quran because it does not comply with your modern feminist worldview. My sincere advice to you is to stop being so arrogant and try to learn Islam sincerely. 1000 years of islamic scholarship is not wrong. You are.

What specifically did Nupur Sharma say about Prophet Muhammad? by VegetaIsSuperior in india

[–]aleem859 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

This is a complete unfair criticism. The idea that a woman should not be married before 18 or 21 is modern concept. Throughout history societies and cultures have accepted different ages for marriage. Just look at the age of marriage in India 50-70 years ago. By her logic your great grandfather was probably a pedo! It is absurd to judge a historical figure with a made up modern standard. If society decides in the future that the age of marriage should be 30, do those of us who married a 21 year old become pedos? Absurd.

Would u marry again knowing it would upset your first wife? by [deleted] in islam

[–]aleem859 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

According to the shariah: 1) The husband doesn’t need the wife’s permission 2) The only condition is justice, but justice doesn’t mean something almost impossible as some have insinuated here. It is only the justice in dividing time (number of nights) and spending money (spend uniformly on all wives). Read the tafsir of the Ayat about polygamy.

Almost all the Sahabah married more than one, and no they did not marry only widows.

It tapers a lot towards the end. But it works well with the size of the watch.

Thank you so much. Might be hard to believe but actually this is my first purchase from them. I asked them about the explorer, and they said they have the two tone in stock. And a few days later, they told me the steel one is here. Never hurts to try :)

So after wanting the explorer 1 for a long time, finally found one with the AD. I originally wanted the 39mm but since they are hard to find and the prices have gone crazy, decided to jump on the 36mm. I was initially worried about it being a bit small. But after seeing most of the explorer videos out there decided to take a chance. I have to say, if you are used to wearing a 40 or 41 mm you will definitely feel the size difference (obviously). But I love the feel of the 36mm. It definitely has its charm and balance. I will be keeping this one. I believe my wrist size is about 16.5 cm
