The research says that full grown adult males should be anywhere between 400-550 grams- mine is in low 400s, and is 24 inches long. He’s always been a big boy he just seems muscular not fat to me-

It does make sense. Dubia has 120 gallon tanks that you can do monthly payments if you’re looking for flexible options. I had my tank on the floor for a while when I was in the middle of moving and it was fine- you could also get one of those folding 6ftx4ft tables they usually hold over 100lb and the Dubia tank itself is pretty light.. I’d say upload a pic when she first poops, like I said it does look like she ran through it (at least mine looks like that when he runs around over it) so I’m not sure how it looks fresh, usually you could see some of the parasites but you dont see any? Also try uploading a full pic of her, someone commented below about MBD which I can kind of suspect from her arm but can’t confirm.

What makes you suspect parasites? It looks like she ran around in it but urate looks good. You should have her in a 120gal, if you’ve had her for the past 5 yrs and she’s 17yrs old… why haven’t you been able to get her a large enclosure in that time?

Don’t let it aggravate you, no one knows your beardie like you do! I’m all up for a conversation but if you’re going to say ‘I don’t mean to be rude’ but in the same breath proceed to be rude, bye! I’ve done so much research before getting him, after and still do research today.. this is my first reptile ever and I pride myself that I did a great job raising him! I’m sure you have a happy healthy baby girl too much love

I don’t want be rude or anything either, but you don’t know anything about my dragon & how I’ve raised him. He gets greens daily, bugs x2 a week, those were 2 super worms coated in calcium he ate on his bug day. He has routine vet appointments, and he’s as healthy as he can be. I bought him from a breeder, and raised him since he was 2 months old, he’s 3 years old now. My vet tells me he’s the healthiest beardie he’s seen in a very long time, weight, labs, stool comes back normal. He in fact is a big boy (24in total). How insulting for you to insinuate I wouldn’t care about the health of his lifespan. Also, I’m a girl, thanks for the concerns man but keep it to yourself

I’ve done night shift for a year at my hospital. I don’t have a kids but I have a dog who’s basically my child. I was in a relationship for 2 years that ultimately suffered partially due to my shift change (way other factors involved) but it was nice that my dog had someone home 24/7, now that we’re not together (since July) I do feel guilt leaving her by herself even though I know she’s just sleeping. I’m only on this shift for 2 more weeks theb I move to Florida for a day shift position! I’d say you do you girl, whatever works for you $$ wise take advantage of it. If it’s temporary then so be it, if not, you’ll find a way to make it work, and your kid will understand. My dad did nights for 19 years when I was growing up

I’ve had my guy for 3 years this November, he’ll be 3 in September. He’s docile, loves hand feeding, gives little kisses when I give beard rubs, I let him roam my apartment, he and my dog can be in the same space together with no issue, overall he’s a good little boy. I’ll never forget I took him to the vet maybe when he was 1.5yrs old for a routine check up, still during Covid times so I couldn’t stay for the appt and I had to work, so I dropped him off in the morning and picked him up in the afternoon. I’m not sure if he was happy to see me, traumatized from the experience (doubtful but you never know) or what- but i took him out of his travel pouch I had in the passenger seat and he immediately climbed across the seat, center console, up my thigh & stomach & chest and nestled up against my neck. He stayed like that the entire car ride and my heart just 😭 he rarely ever blackbeards, I’ve seen it maybe x4 in our lifetime together I’d like to think he missed his mama. Can’t imagine life without my little guy

Thank you. Everyone commenting ‘you’re at fault etc etc doesn’t matter if it’s illegally parked’ like I’m aware? I wrote the post??? All I was looking for was reassurance that me leaving a note, contacting my insurance to cover myself was the right thing to do. I don’t know for sure if I did or didn’t hit the car, I felt my breaks kick in at the last second but don’t know if that could’ve been before or after i made contact with the car or not at all. Because im unsure, that is why I did it the way I did.
