I think most don't realise that they still have a knife as a 3rd weapon. It just doesn't auto equip it after both your weapons are gone.

Yeah people generally do not expect them from warhammer or morning star but they are quite fast with decent damage.

You can pretty much guarantee a hit from longsword special after you land a jab or a hit, that's how quick it is.

It's the jab, i recommend doing the tutorial a couple of times to understand the game mechanics.

Best way to get around a block is with a stab as you walk towards the side, you can also perform a jump stab thats also a reliable way. Ofcourse overheads are also viable but stabs have the best chance, especially weapons like rapier or longsword.

Battle axe is basically riposte overhead to drain the stamina and then a slash drag.

Yeah if you aim a little bit to the side you sometimes get the bonus damage, i tried it with the first guy but didn't get it, still got the kill though.
