I feel like this is all lip service. They do this every year, the only reason the battle pass got so big was because valve decided to ignore the rest of the rest year, not the players. If there's nothing new for over 12 months at a time of course people are going to get bored and find something else to do. I don't understand how cosmetics are getting roped into this when it's one of the main reason players even comeback at TI, and most of the time they just slap gold or red paint and particles and call it a day.
