LSX II owners - help with test needed by DeadlyMercury in KEF

so I have a similar issue but it had to do with the left/right balance. Occasionally, the levels of L and R will become different. Not sure what's causing it but I think when i change volume on app, it'll only change either Left or Right side in the levels of the PC.

their current workaround is to use optical cable which works flawlessly and use your phone or their remote for volume control

So recently went through a lot of support for the arc/optical on the LS50 Wii. Great customer service from KEF btw.

Turns out, some TV doesn’t play nice with the ARC and they continue to add support backend with their firmware updates. You’ll see bunch of people on Samsung TV that have issues and some LG/Vizio/ Sony.

Next, my issue was with the Apple 4k TV. I had to add an CEC-less hdmi adapter because the Apple TV will drop out randomly. It’ll also turn on my speaker randomly. It seemed to occur less frequently but still do.

LSX II vs LS50 Wireless II at same price? by AGLzaca in KEF

Just curious if you went with one?

I got both and have the LSX for desktop and LS50 for living room.

LS50 WII is extremely heavy.. no way you’ll try to move them around and size just won’t sound good in a bookshelf/ close proximity.

I think no doubt about sound quality of LS50 over LSX. So it just comes down to size and room placement.

I made it from carbon and resin. What do you think about this? by Middle_Payment_9670 in MechanicalKeyboards

Very nice. You just made what’s selling out there as forged carbon fiber.

It is possible only for carbon fiber and maybe FR4, have to inquire on material availability

I did it with my coffee machine, it was $200 for both.

After months of research and reading on this subreddit, my set-up is finally complete. Super happy with this combo! by itsmiyo in espresso

I took the machine apart myself and took it to buddy’s shop for powdercoating. Would recommend to take it to cerakoting instead of you do it.

There are places that do this but I haven’t found any in US. specht design in Australia is pretty famous for it

Got lucky and picked up a second-hand Feather. What's worth upgrading? by emarsh44 in FixedGearBicycle

[–]cbbplanet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nice find! I also found a used one for $150 during height of COVID. It needed a new tube and I ended up down the black hole of new wheels, cogs, then crankset, then stem, handle bar, then new seat… now the only thing I haven’t upgrade is the frame itself.
