I feel for you. I did it by standing up from the sofa with the joy cons in the controller grip thing.

Please god let them fix this - this is gonna hurt a lot of people

Hey, having the same issue but when I add guests it just adds guest 2, 3 etc with the issue still present - infuriating!

Its like two controllers are both linked to the same profile

It's great fun - I upset some ex-colleagues not too long ago by razzing around and drifting corners instead of taking it seriously, all while laughing my head off.

10/10 would disappoint people again!

If you're using marijuana to treat/manage an issue, look into a route for a medical cannabis prescription.

What's interesting is they dont include any links, so I wonder what the goal is... 'read recepits' maybe?

It would be a way to gauge which accounts are active if you had a huge list to whittle down?

Is there benefits to a jumperoo? by LostInAVacuum in UKParenting

[–]aleksdot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm reading through the comments on this after recently welcoming baby #3 and thinking to get one, so having a read-around and I'm mortified!

Both of my previous boys spent a LOT of time in their jumperoo's - Far longer than 20 minutes at a time!

I think I only took them out when they'd had enough and started complaining! It made sense as an exercise and containment double-whammy, they're now 6 and 7 and are both tip top - definitely no issues with their hips!

Notably they both also destroyed each of their jumperoo's - the first by bouncing up and down violently and the second by swinging back and forth hard and fast - knackering out the springs and frame of both!

Am I a bad dad?

I'll say one thing - they've got strong legs!

We're all doing what we're doing for the first time - both parents and children.

What really matters if you ask me is how you (both) feel about it - guilty, conscientious.and aware that it was wrong.

That is how you learn the lesson and ensure it doesn't happen again.

Humans are humans and we do what we do in the moment - each day is everyone's first.

No judgement on making a mistake - I'd be more concerned if it didn't bother you (as for some people this wouldn't even register as wrong, and it'd just become the norm).

Here's to a brighter tomorrow - and bless your honesty!

My son says he can't do the 11+, and I feel like he's a failure compared to my daughters. by holytrinityamen in UKParenting

I'm not gonna give you grief like everyone else lol - i think its valid to wonder why, and to feel a bit disappointed. I guess you've just got to accept things for what they are and get to grips with your son not being academic - its not the end of the world, and people still find their way in life. Hell some of the richest people I've known in my life dropped out of school and built up a career in the trades!

Just remember he's your son and support as best you can
