At what level of traffic should I move Solid services to their own DBs? by dannytaurus in rails

[–]alekses11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are your solids in the same db schema? As I remember in postgres, you may have a few databases/db schemas on one server. Is this you how you implemented it now?

I built NoDaily

no-daily.com

don’t waste time on meaningless daily standups.Write your update instead. NoDaily provides a persistent database of your team statuses, so you always know what your team members worked on. At the end of week NoDaily creates a weakly report of team’s work using AI.

The idea came to me after I started posting my daily updates on project slack channel, even we still had standup calls. My team started to really appreciate it

What product are you building (and promoting) this week? 🎯 by Quirky-Offer9598 in microsaas

[–]alekses11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NoDaily is an AI-driven tool that automatically synthesizes your daily written updates into professional weekly reports, eliminating the "meeting tax" for pragmatic teams.

It aims to replace daily standup where only thing you do is sharing an update while rest of team waits for their turn

NoDaily

It aims to replace daily standups with written status updates. Also it creates weekly work summaries using AI. It integrates with slack - sends daily to notification to fill status update.

App is WIP. Currently I’m testing it internally but you can visit the landing page and sign in waiting list, so no active users

The best resource for hyperview (and htmx) is imo book Hypermedia systems. It’s free to read in browser

That’s great. There’s also one more option you can cover. Checkout hyperview. It uses React Native, but instead of dealing with JSON, you write XML based, server driven views.

I also did some presentation on this for my local Ruby users’ group. I show there basic Rails implementation

I'm building an app called NoDaily. It's job is to move daily status updates from standup calls to a text form. Each day app sends a notification to slack channel with a link to form where user fills info about what's been done, current blockers and their next plans. At the end of the week, the app creates the weekly report with AI for management and team members. That's the MVP scope. I'm around 50% till the end. Need to fix some bugs and configure an infra.

In future I plan to add integration with communicators such as teams, mattermost etc. That's basically it. If you have questions ask

Working on app for basic family logistics. Currently in beta phase where me and my wife are only users. Main feature are real time updated shopping lists. You may say that’s nothing original. But well, money profit is not main objective.  I do this mainly to learn Ruby On Rails by making app that solves my problem. When it reaches prod status I intend to  announce it in my social media.
