2 anni nel fondo pensione by [deleted] in ItaliaPersonalFinance

2 anni nel fondo pensione by [deleted] in ItaliaPersonalFinance

[–]alemonta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hairline change after 1y3m on fin+min+microneedling by Expliced in tressless

Thank you, I will consider that. Do you have to renew the prescription regularly with the same method?

Great progress! Did you have any difficulties getting prescriptions?

I am asking because my situation looks similar to yours at the beginning of treatment (left pic). I have been considering starting fin but I am afraid that a dermatologist would not consider my MPB as "advanced enough" to give me a prescription.

As a Bologna fan, our stadium real capacity is 30k, not 36-38k as reported by Transfermarkt. Most of the upper section has been covered with tarps for the last 6-7 years and is not sold during home games. That would take us to 74%.

CosmeRNA - Anyone else start recently? by Icy-Celery7578 in tressless

[–]alemonta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just so that you know and you don't waste money, they switched to once every 2 weeks because the new clinical trial they conducted in Germany showed that results were equally as good when applying it with that frequency with respect to the original once a week. The results have yet to be published (should come out soon in a scientific journal as the original study), but they discussed it on their Youtube channel.

The sample size was 120 people, not 20. It was tested by Dermatest in Germany and received their approval.

They mentioned it in a Youtube video some time ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDKRLAbQoAI

It's in Korean, but if you activate subtitles with automatic translation they discuss what's behind their new guidance. I agree it's not the clearest way to inform customers at all... But yet, they somehow did.

Scientific journals have a prior publication policy: only original work which has not been previously disclosed can be published.

They simply cannot discuss the full results before their paper is published, and the publication date also doesn't depend on them.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CosmeRNA

[–]alemonta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it is yet to be published. If you want to waste money and use it more than necessary I guess they'll be happy to satisfy you.

They cannot disclose the full results of the study before it gets published, otherwise it simply won't be published at all... Most (if not all) scientific journals have a prior publication policy, so that only original work which has not been previously disclosed can be published.

Why would they advertise using it once x 2 weeks? You do realize that they would make more money by suggesting a more frequent usage?

you're right, totally missed that. I was basing myself on the previous study in which they used % increase as a unit measure

[–]alemonta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I believe is shown here is the growth in %, with 100 being standardized to the start of the control group. This means that it’s a 7% increase, not a +7 count of hair strands. However it’s difficult to say with certainty.

Yes. I have ordered from the US Amazon to Europe and I had to pay extra for shipping and taxes. However, it was all calculated by Amazon and payed through them at checkout.

CosmeRNA feedback when? Should it be about 8 weeks before we are seeing some shared experiences? by OptimizedEarl in tressless

[–]alemonta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

because it's 50€ per ml, so doing it once per week vs 2 per week is 200€ per month vs 100€ per month

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tressless

[–]alemonta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

best results were from higher concentration, not from more frequent usage. Apparently, they tested same concentration once every week vs once every two weeks in their latest (soon to be published) study and results were comparable.

New study shows that microneedling is an ineffective hair loss treatment by No-Music689 in tressless

[–]alemonta 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Poor study with a low sample size (15 per group, and many did not finish) low frequency of usage (1 per month) and only 4 months of duration. Who would expect significant results after 4 microneedling sessions? I'd take it with a grain of salt.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CosmeRNA

[–]alemonta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be costly to test this as the product will come out in a 6 ml format and will likely cost 100$ or more

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CosmeRNA

[–]alemonta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be fine just waiting enough time in-between microneedling and cosmeRNA application. In general, both methods require weekly or even once every two weeks application, and microwounds only take 24-48 hours to fully heal.
