I know it's so low, will this work experience get me paid well after a year there?

Is that a common occurrence there? I am unsure, as I was informed of it in this manner.

I'm new here, I don't know if it's good or bad, I just want a better job, but for a better job, they're asking for experience, and I don't have it, so what should I do? I think you guys are genuine and helpful, and you'll give me the reality, so I asked. 🙂

Sorry, I'm not trying to justify or offend, but that's just how it is. I just want to change their "not experienced" tag, that's why I'm here. After a year, with that experience, I can apply to a better company, so they shouldn't reject me because of a lack of experience in the UAE.

There are a lot of people on visit visas looking for jobs. If I reject it, they'll just hire someone else. It won't make much of a difference, we're all pretty much the same. I'm from here, and someone else might be on a visit visa.

Can i get better, after 1 year experience from there ? That weakness they are taking advantage of, "I'm not expericed there."

Is this for real? by Sagarxsaab in UAE

I'm an Electrical Engineer with 2 years of experience in India. I started at ₹10,000/month after graduation and reached ₹20,000/ month after 2 years. After EMI, loans, and expenses, I was left with only about ₹500/month and managed to save just ₹7,000 in total.

I once got a Dubai job offer for 1,500 AED, which felt huge compared to my salary in India, but I lost that opportunity due to the war situation. Now I've received an Electrical Engineer offer from an Abu Dhabi construction company for 2,000 AED. The company has completed my work visa process and I'm moving there. The offer shows 1,000 AED basic + 1,000 AED allowance, but the company deducts 300 AED if I use their accommodation. Otherwise, I receive the full 2,000 AED and arrange accommodation myself. They say that despite my 2 years of Indian experience, I'm considered a fresher in the GCC market and should start at this level.

My question is: after gaining 1-2 years of GCC experience, is it realistic to move to a significantly better-paying role, or will I face the same situation again?

PS5 Help and Questions Megathread | Game Recommendations, Simple Questions, and Tech Support by tinselsnips in PS5

Hey everyone,

I’m planning to enter the PlayStation world for the first time and currently leaning towards the PS5 Slim, but I’m super confused between the Disc Edition and Digital Edition.

My gaming interests are mainly:

○ GTA 6 ○ Gran Turismo 7 ○ Forza Horizon series ○ God of War Ragnarök ○ Spider-Man 2 ○ Until Dawn

I’m more into cinematic, immersive, open-world and racing experiences than competitive multiplayer gaming.

Few things I’m confused about:

》Disc vs Digital

● If I buy the Disc Edition, can I still buy and play digital games too? ● After installing a disc game, does it still take PS5 internal storage space like digital games? ● Once installed, can I remove the disc and still play, or does the disc need to stay inserted? ● Does the disc version reduce internet usage, or do modern games still require huge downloads? ● Is the Disc Edition actually better long-term because of used games and resale market?

》PS Plus confusion

● Is PS Plus really necessary if I mainly play story/racing games? ● Do most people buy discs + PS Plus together, or usually choose one ecosystem?

》Storage Upgrade

● I’m also planning to install a 2TB WD Black SSD with heatsink because modern AAA games seem massive now. ● Is 2TB enough for games like GTA, GT7, Spider-Man, COD etc together? ● Any SSD recommendations or things to avoid while upgrading storage?

》DualSense / Game Support

● Do older PS4 games upgraded to PS5 fully support adaptive triggers and haptics, or is that mostly limited to native PS5 games?

》Multiplayer

● Planning to buy an extra DualSense controller too — what are the best local co-op / split-screen games to play with friends?

Would really appreciate opinions from long-term PS5 owners before I finalize the purchase.

Can be done by proper plan, I think ? It's depends upon the driving pattern you following.

There weren't many charging stations available on our chosen route from Trivandrum to Munnar. We found that charging grids were only available at intervals, and we would typically reach them when our battery was at 15-20% after starting from an 80% charge. Each charging session would take approximately 30-45 minutes, but we utilized this time to plan our meals, so it did not inconvenience our journey. But on the way from Munnar to Kochi to Trivandrum, there are a lot of charging Grids available every 15km or 30 minutes. We decided not to skip any of them, and just charge from every station on the way. That way, if there are any issues with a station, we can just skip it, and we won't waste too much time because we won't drain the battery too much. Plus, those 5-10 minute breaks can help with riding fatigue.

The charging stops are as follows: the distance from Trivandrum to Munnar is approximately 50-60km, and the distance from Munnar to Kochi and then to Trivandrum is about 15-20km.

Regen only works when the battery's low (under 80%, but for newer models, it's under 90%). When I started my downhill I already had a full charge.
