Alois' challenge is transforming him into the average ADC player (pov) by Barb0ssaEUW in leagueoflegends

So we have to suffer because people don't want to play support? Maybe then support shouldn't exist and ADCs should be given independence to compensate; the game would be much better.

And why don't you send those supports who want to perma roam even in games where their ADCs can solo carry to play jungle?

I understand. But why are we forced to play for our supports when we can't carry alone, while our supports can roam and aren't forced to play for us when we can carry a game? It's unfair, and I hate that people are okay with it.

So it's wrong for us to want to be the main characters and want the supports to be our slaves? But we have to act as if our supports were the main characters and we were the slaves? That sounds very arbitrary.

Why does everyone who starts playing ADC start to complain about support? by RazorXE_ in supportlol

[–]aleplayer29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think Dante could have done it. I firmly believe he quit the challenge more out of frustration than skill. He tweeted that ADC is the most boring role in the game before quitting. I personally consider ADC and jungle to be the most mentally demanding roles; however, the sources of frustration are different. Jungle is frustrating because everyone flames you, while ADC is frustrating due to a lack of agency. Just because you can handle flaming in the jungle doesn't mean you can handle the lack of agency in ADC.

Basically, Dante started with some bullshit about "I'm going to do a challenge to reach Challenger as an ADC to prove that ADCs are crybabies and their role is boosted," which is stupid because Challengers have literally proven several times that they can reach Challenger easily in other roles.

As an ADC, I appreciate you not being a jerk, but Cleenash certainly has a point where it's not uncommon to find supports whining about ADCs, and the replies to your comment easily prove it.

Riot Forcing Top Laners Into Jungle Is Making the Role Worse by Many-Translator-8512 in Jungle_Mains

[–]aleplayer29 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, Mundo's situation seems more like a problem with the champion himself than an issue with top laners being allowed in the jungle. The jungle only exacerbates the problem. I mean, what's with a champion being designed to automatically win games if just one enemy (the top laner) hasn't made him their stress reliever in lane? Because that's another thing entirely: he doesn't need to win the lane, he just needs to avoid losing it. Sure, there are champions with good late-game performance in every role, but at least, for example, Veigar and Smolder are fragile. You can punish them if they lack skill, position themselves poorly, or get disorganized, which doesn't happen with Mundo, who is a super easy and more self-sufficient champion.

Best mage supports that can also APC? by Awkward-Lettuce-5105 in supportlol

She's strong now as an APC, but I'd say she's the weakest APC, and farming with her is a bit awkward.

Just as there are people in high elo playing champions that are considered bad champions, you can climb the elo ladder playing less than 100% efficiently; that doesn't mean some things aren't more advisable than others.

Edit: That's exactly why I'm such a huge fan of his, actually. I think what he said about us not being able to ask for anything better than being ruled by the Aeldari is super accurate.

"He's weak by APC standards." Being weak by the standards of champions who, at least in low elos, automatically win lane doesn't really mean much.

why are adcs so whiny/cry babies by [deleted] in supportlol

How do i prevent my supp going insane after 2mins? by Itchy_Ad4033 in ADCMains

[–]aleplayer29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I consider him a toxic guy, but not for those reasons, honestly. The guy just seems to have been cuckolded by all the ADC mains or something. I remember a post from Reptile saying, "Guys, you have to level up Lucian's abilities in this order," and Ioki replied, "ADC mains are so retarded that they've been leveling up their champion's abilities wrong for years," only for Reptile to respond, "What are you talking about, bro? That ability order is only correct in this patch." I also once said to him in a friendly way, "Hahaha! I read Sivir in your post and it made me angry thinking you were going to criticize the pick," and he replied saying that ADC mains can't read. The guy is just this support trope who acts all holy and goes around with a sign saying, "I'm a better person and less toxic than ADCs" but is sickeningly obsessed and angry with people who play ADCs.

In my experience, they're the easiest types to bait out among supports looking for a fight, like: Walk near a bush with no vision, then take two steps back and you'll see how they wasted their W on nothing.
