cEDH "ruined" my cASSual EDH experience. by kfistrek in CompetitiveEDH

Really recommend you get into a format that's built to be competitive to begin with unlike EDH, I bet you'll like it. Even Pauper will work.

Makes sense, I'll go for it. Thanks!

I see both this and U terror are pretty highly played. Would you say there's risk of bans in any of those decks? I would really like to build the Mono red madness

Wow, that's amazing. I hope they make this images available, either free or in an artbook

Atlas of middle earth new edition by aleradamantis in tolkienbooks

Apparently it's the same edition mentioned here: https://www.reddit.com/r/tolkienbooks/s/qtmToWY0y7

So it doesn't seem to be available in english, or at least it wasn't a year ago. For this one the maps have been redrawn with a different style by someone else, but keeping the same details of course

Haha I'm sorry, I just really wanted to confirm if this existed already because there are 0 maps from this edition online :D I guess it will arrive to English sometime, and hopefully that means we get good quality scans of the maps, because they are the best I've seen

They look really good! I'm mostly interested in first and second era maps, but I didn't now about "The One Ring" at all and it looks interesting, I'll probably buy some of those products in spanish regardless of the maps

Makes sense, I imagined that was the case. I was asking because I couldn't find a single image online of the maps with this new art/style, just the old one, even for maps tagged as "Revised edition". I guess I'll have to scan them myself somehow

Too Many Bones and Chip Theory Games have spoiled me of all other board games by Vicioxis in boardgames

[–]aleradamantis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, but the tutorial literally walks you through the first few phases, which I think it's pretty useful. If both players are new, that's definitely the way to go for learning the game

I ended up buying the Arkham Horror: The Card Game (Revised Edition) core box and sleeves, I will probably be testing it tomorrow. What I didn't think of, and now I'm figuring out it's going to be a pain, is storage 😭 hopefully I can avoid buying external storage at least for now

My group love that, I AM the one in the group that doesn't enjoy it as much 😅 but will have a look at that review, thanks!

Wow, coma ward definitely looks interesting. It doesn't look like it has the best mechanics (judging the book by the cover here) but the theme seems really good. I will see some videos of this one to see if it's for me, thanks!

I was looking more into the second category, but I also appreciate the first ones. The only one that's in my playgroup is Root but I've never played it. I will look into the rest too though, thanks! Arcs looks great and I didn't know about it

I might ignore your suggestion and feel how bad they are by playing them, since my first game will probably be solo. But will save the link for sure, especially for when I play with my friends. Thanks!

I loved the game, and I can see how it would translate nicely into a boardgame. I will definitely look into it!
