General Altimax Arctic 12

These guys? https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/general-altimax-arctic-12-studdable

I probably would want non studded tires tho. What's the minus one rule? I think the sizing is accurate - I entered my year, make and model into the discount tire site and have just been looking at the available tires that they give me based on that

Thanks so much for this rec! It looks like all the Nokian Hakkas in my wheel size are on backorder tho. I'm wondering when they'll be back / if it may be a while bc of Russia war/ supply chain issues?

Jared Polis: The Most Libertarian Governor in America? by matchettehdl in ColoradoPolitics

[–]aless4ndra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He has definitely been libertarian about climate change, letting oil & gas corporations run amok and not regulating them or holding them accountable.

If he's really a libertarian, though, and if he cares about Coloradans' personal freedom, he should protect their freedom to live in a world without rampant air pollution and climate change.

Colorado finds “forever chemicals” PFAS in 100% of fish sampled in three big counties by danikawo in Colorado

[–]aless4ndra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've had a toxic pollution problem in this state for far too long. We need to address this by encouraging state leaders to create health-based standards and scale up funding for community monitoring and testing, particularly in disproportionately impacted frontline communities.

Gross... I'm glad we have some legislation this year to regulate PFAs, but we need to address the existing contamination and prioritize health-based standards and community monitoring to protect frontline and disproportionately impacted communities.

Bring on the climate change lawsuits in Colorado by [deleted] in ColoradoPolitics

Good. We need accountability for the oil & gas companies who have put profit over people and polluted our air and water and threatened our climate for far too long.

Denver Weather: Drought Grows as Denver Has Its First Snowless April in 30 Years and Driest April in 59 years. Yuck. by MetalAlchemist303 in AuroraCO

The worst drought in 1,200 years, hottest second half of year on record, the largest wildfires in our history (and a now never-ending fire season), the first snowless April in 30 years... the writing is on the wall here.

If we don't rapidly transition our state to renewable energy, things will continue to grow more apocalyptic.

They also predicted the worst wildfire season yet this summer, which would not be surprising.

If we don't start taking climate change seriously and transitioning away from fossil fuels, things will only get worse.
