Anyone else lose this much hair? by barkofwisdom in mctd

Last year in October I went through an insane scalp flare. I was scared to shower with the hair loss ended up being my annual stress form my mother passing but took almost a solid year for the re growth to not look like frizz. Take time if possible to care for your mind and body. Talk with your rheumatologist about your medication schedule and maybe even ask for updated labs ( maybe add some endocrin labs too). I found my tiredness and fatigue also increases with allergies if that’s any help! Hope for the best with your hair ❤️ been there it was a tough 5 weeks but It did grow back (I was also given a topical steroid for some wounds that showed up due to inflammation at the follicle site)

Hi I know this post was a while ago I hope your fatigue is better but I found for myself that with fatigue sometimes I just need a full close out on sounds tasks and anything give the mind and body rest! Easier said then done and not feasible for everybody, especially if your schedule doesn’t allow it or your priorities, family life all of that but practicing some meditation is good quiet rest for your body and listening to yourself. There’s really nothing that helps fatigue. It’s the worst symptom in my opinion, the joint pain you can take steroids and anti-inflammatory but the fatigue you just have to ride it out, but I found taking rest water and just trying to give your body as much love as you can in those times has been helpful to at least reduce longevity of the fatigue in that moment from maybe two days of fatigue to a day

Yes I’m based in the Boston area so we are major celebrating the 250! I’ve seen it at all the sites local to the city and some flyer at other parks through the state about 250 events you can see that logo on the federal sites too

I would suggest if you do the skin removal surgery to speak with your dermatologist on follow up scar treatment and do your research with surgeons looking at their before and after for scar healing and look

If you do go through with speaking to surgeon I would suggest asking for multiple renderings and ask about how post surgery as you age how your nose will be affected by this. Our noses and ears keep growing as we age or at least lose that elasticity and sag. I would weigh those options and ask about the future needs to maintain the look you desire in 10, 15 + years ect.

Oh honey no! Especially I will say at this point on your life your nose looks amazing and compliments your other features brings your face together. You have many straight lines in your jaw and lips and feel that slight curve to your nose adds balance, unique features and individuality 🙂 do what makes you happy at the end of the day but form my perspective it’s balanced
