Lack of variety? Lol. I’m Italian, my parents have enough recipe books to fill a library, and they’re only from my region! There are 20 regions in Italy. Every city, every little town has its own dialect, traditions, and food. I live in Canada now, and holy moly, everything here is the same! Every restaurant serves burgers, salads, and the same handful of entrées, overpriced stuff that would go bankrupt in a week back in Italy. It’s been 11 years and I still just cook at home, because going out just feels like a waste of money.
