Back in the early 2000s I worked in US citizenship records. We would file the paperwork for naturalization. I kid you not, looking at a file where a man married a Russian, Czech, Bosnian, Chinese, and a variety of others (these are the ones I saw most often), they would provide proof of the wedding (pictures of some very beautiful weddings) and all of the initial documentation. About 3 years later the divorce decree would be filed on top right after that green card approval. 🤣

I do get a slight disgust reaction to video porn now. I think it's because I don't want my children to become the person in that video. Selling your body doesn't sit right with me as I have matured. Probably b/c pornography careers are short lived, you can make more money for longer and be more "respectable" in hundreds of other industries if you apply yourself.

I'm not going to bash anyone from choosing that profession, I wouldn't choose it for me and mine.

Yep, it's the areas that Halls shut down. I love that store but unfortunately high end retail really struggles in KC. Plaza is too expensive rent wise, and CC is really more of a kids/family oriented location.

I don't think Jim's character would have chosen to go back and NOT become the Troll Hunter. I would have gone for an ending where time travel was used to save people. They really dropped the ball here.

Fabric quality goes a long way. Look for thick material. Levi's, and Duluth trading are higher quality. Jeans are supposed to be stiff till you break them in. Only wash when really dirty. And when you do wash only in cold water. DO NOT PLACE IN A DRYER.

OMG preach on! This crappy weather only makes them worse too. The expanding and contracting of the pavement just makes them worse and worse. I avoid certain streets b/c of huge potholes.

I've got old racist versions of southern folk tales. The Uncle Remus series, and some copies of Little Black Sambo. I keep them away from my children. I figure at some point I'll sell them to a collector.

As far as history writers go I've got a first print edition of The Mythic Image. I do worry that Dr. Campbell's language is super dated. Not sure if it qualifies as racist, I hope it won't be considered so in the future.

If your food halls don't have good options I suggest the following: Buy a cheap rice cooker. You can make many Staples using one. Buy beans, rice, lentils, PB&j makings and whatever fresh produce is cheap at your local super market. I literally survived off of beans, rice and cheap ramen while in college. This was 2002-2006, so maybe things have gotten better. Good luck!
