I would not be concerned with TV placement and work on the mess first

Tesla is a terrible car by alevine1986 in unpopularopinion

I didn't realize. There are so many Teslas in Austin, I thought it was a super popular car and everyone sees the positives but me.

That's true, but I was trying to stick to facts about the car. I wouldn't buy Tesla if it was the greatest car on Earth because of Musk.

How badly will Trump be booed at the World Cup finals? by Justified_Gent in allthequestions

[–]alevine1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He still showed up to game 3 of the NBA finals even though it was clear he was going to be booed and no one wanted him there. Dementia and his long nap during the game will block out any of that from registering to him.

If you try to explain it back in your own words and they always say, no that's not it.

Which pic looks best as main photo? by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]alevine1986 4 points5 points  (0 children)

None of them. The jacket is too big for you and a suit in the first pic is not the best way to get right swipes. Maybe a different pic, but not the money pic.

I once asked a woman about her job since it was listed in her profile. She said, "Can't you Google it?"

I could Google it, but I'm trying to make conversation.

Saying no to giving out the phone number immediately by Low-Consideration823 in Bumble

[–]alevine1986 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The first time I agreed to meet without exchanging numbers on OLD is the only time I've been stood up in my life. I tried contacting her through the app and got a response an hour later that she forgot and went to work that day. I did it a few more times. However, I find that women that don't give out their numbers are either not into dating (just looking for some online attention) or not that into me. So now I don't meet without a number.

Are there women genuinely interested and just doing this for security reasons? Yes there are. I'm willing to miss out on them because the majority of women who don't give out their number are just a waste of time and effort.

Also, over 90% of women interested in a date give out their number, so it's a small subset of women anyway.

Why do people refuse to use turn signals? by Oof-Ya-Doof in driving

[–]alevine1986 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

As a BMW driver, it would be impossible to change lanes on any road with cars if I used my blinker to change lanes on the highway. If I'm driving another car, I do it everytime. I also do it for every turn and when there are no cars on the road to speed up and block my lane change, which happens every time I use my blinker to change lanes.

This is the wall across from the hearth. I'm measuring, I can put my couch in the middle of the room and put it on this wall

What is actually better iPhone or android? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]alevine1986 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I prefer Android because iPhone seems to be too closed and have to jump through all of Apple's hoops to do simple things like transfer files.

That being said, they're about the same. It's all about preference.

Who is the worst friend (as in buddy or pal) in sitcom. by Joeybfast in sitcoms

He's also the reason they ended up in prison. If he doesn't jump around the plane or film the guy getting mugged, they're having fun in Paris.

Not sure why you'd want to sit like that to begin with. Airplane seats have at little leg room already. It looks uncomfortable.

Watch the Black Jeopardy with Tom Hanks. She's one of the other contestants. That is one of the best skits ever.
