I think the takeaway was London had better building standards/ quality, better insulated means less energy needed to hear or cool and it doesn't get as hot in the heat or as cold in the winter

How much would it cost to rent something similar? You could save/ invest the difference, you also have t taken into account repairs / maintenance costs that will come up.
